Re: Villain makes decent bet into 3 flush board and I have top set

This should be seen as random input more than advice since PLO is not my forte, but I think it is probable that the bettor will check behind on many turn cards, thus giving you better odds.

This...

Hands strong enough to limp but not call a single raise?

The typical scenario when someone raises is that everyone who has limped is calling the raise. Is this just fine play?

Are there hands strong enough to limp, but not call a single pot raise under...

Any Omaha math wiz kid out there?

If you deal 4 random cards from a deck... how likeley is it that you are dealt:

1. AAxx
2. AAxx single-suited
3. AAxx double-suited

4. three of a kind
5. four of a kind

Thanks so much!...

Hands to choose to play against AAxx?

Let's say you strongly suspect your opponent raises you pre-flop with AAxx. Then it is probably quite okay to call with a lot of hands and try to crack him but are there some hands that you should...

Any terrible plays here pre-flop?

Okay or bad - and a little comment on each one would be nice. /images/graemlins/cool.gif

What is the easiest legitimate hand to get away from post-flop?

A non legitimate hand would be for example 444x or 4444 - trips/4 of a kind.

ASSUME OPPONENT HAS AAxx.

1. Before you know how the flop looks like (i.e. it is random) what is the easiest hand to...

Do I have the odds to go with this failed semi-bluff pre-flop?

This is in Swedish SEK. It is equivalent to 0.25/0.50 $.
I haven't played a hand for 3 or 4 rounds so I raised to represent AAxx and possibly get some more bluff equity on the flop. Since hands are...

I was born lazy. :\
Optimal would be someone with experience in the same type of situation.
I also dont really get the logic that plaing "ALOT" of hand would mean that rakeback is more importnat....

Re: Rake consideration

I am typically playing 1 and sometimes 2 6-max tables and also some heads up.

My limit now is $1.5/3. I am very picky with rake back deals but I am starting to wonder - maybe correctly - if I...

Rake consideration

I am playing 4-6 handed with an aggressive semi-loose style of play.
Per hour - how much in $$ would I pay in rake APPROXIMATELY at:
1/2 NL?
2/4 NL?
3/6 NL?
5/10 NL?

Just give some numbers if...

Re: I played this hand and was very confused

"The only ace/boat he can play this way is AQ or QQ. Compare this with all the draws that missed and there's NO way I can fold."

All the draws?
You mean the flush draws.
The flush draws that...

Re: I played this hand and was very confused

Yes, it would be very weird for a good regular to chase flush draws on the turn card with a paired board for such a steep price.
The more I think about it I think that calling here is EXTREMELY -EV...

Re: nl 100, JJ on T83 rag board.

There are a lot of combos out there and no common 2 pair hands and a TT/88 will sometimes re-raise you preflop. T-pairs will typically check to you on the river. Call and re-evauale.

Re: why o why didnt I 4bet

z He will bet to protect his hand with a...

Re: NLT - Tricky spot with flush and deep stacks

Yes, it may seem result oriented but could you prove me wrong? Concerning " am not valuebetting (I may get trips to fold), I am not protecting the hand, I have a low fush etc etc. Spew."??

Re: Overpair oop raised on blank turn...

You should probably bet more on the flop.
On the turn you may ocasionally check for pot control.

On the turn the chance is slim that he gained a valid insentive to semi-bluff or bluff. The 2...
