Re: Entourage 8/26

[ QUOTE ]
I didn't think it was THAT bad... then again, I love this show so much I can never think any episode is bad. I guess this ep just wasn't as great as the rest of them.

As said above,...

Re: 200NL, AQs OOP faces turn minraise when board pairs

I'm probably shoving-folding about equally here. Against standard range of Party unknown's I'd say this was a 3BAI all day, but I'm opt to fold in this particular spot.

I like a...

Re: nl50 TPGK; turn raise

Yeah, I think I see a range of 99+, AJ, A/images/graemlins/club.gifT/images/graemlins/club.gif, KQ, QTs+, KTs, JT here. It's a pretty big call actually.

Re: NL 25: What\'s up with all these min 3-bets pf and minraises?

With these stack sizes, the 3-bet AI is appropriate. Deeper, I'd peel one off to re-evaluate but this is a good spot.

Unless there's some super read we're missing, this is standard.

Re: $50NL 6max Trying to maximize value?

I was pretty torn on this river. I wanted to get value out of my hand but I also didn't want to turn it into a bluff. Does anyone like a smaller bet or check here?

Re: Quick hand.. standard flop lead?

Even with that small sample of reads, I'd go for a check-raise on this dry board.

Re: 50nl 85 flops 2pair, nasty board - river desicion vs passive playe

[ QUOTE ]
Definitely check the river and pray he checks behind. No value in betting, only better hands will call. Fold to any reasonable bet.

Re: NL25 Extracting value. 3 hands

Hand 1: I'd elect to raise more preflop. As a player, I'm wary of small ball raises just as I'm wary of legit-sized three-bets. On the flop, I bet more like 80% of the pot. At this point, it's not...

RR PF w/88? I don't think so... 99+ has you beat ~80% of the time... SB threw in a good sized 3 bet here indicating a premium starting hand. Since he checked the river, it may have been...

Re: NL25 A9 hand in SB -makes top pair & last to act bets vs AQT

Against this type of opponent, I like to see how they play weaker aces. It seems to me a bunch of players with these kind of numbers will over value weaker aces, especially in this position. ...

NL5 - Live Donkbet: Do I Continue?

It's a live $2-$5 game at a local card club. It's late in the session and we're playing four-handed. Villian is another club regular, a semi-solid player. He plays pretty loose-passive preflop and...

Fun question!

I think I'd need at least 5 shots a round to be competitive with Tiger.
My guess is that I'd improve 5 shots a round if the hole were...

My index is a 5.3 (up a bunch this year). They can't calculate Tiger's index, as the highest available is +8 (I don't take into consideration, just worth noting).

If we're playing match play, I...

Re: So I was thinking about folding for a moment

Fold here. Getting less to 1:1 against a range that has a lot of Q9s, JT and sets in it. You don't see one pair hands that you can beat (99, JQ+) here; definitely less than 15% of the time.
