Re: Blackjack basic strategy - comments from other players at table

In my experience, a large number of dealers don't know basic strategy well, but are more than willing to give out unsolicited bad advice at the table.

I have the utmost respect for a dealer who...

Re: KO count

Sorry, 4*n. You're counting 4 extra cards per deck compared to a balanced count. In a system like Red 7 where you're only counting the 7d,7h, it would be 2*n.

Re: Blackjack betting system as proxy for card-counting

ASM = auto shuffling machine. This just replaces the dealer hand shuffle. Cards are dealt from a shoe and discards are accumulated in a discard tray. Everything occurs as in a dealer shuffled game....

jh12547,

Your post is useless and off topic. Betting patterns are worthless, and having nothing to do with dice control.

Re: Baccarat any thoughts?

As baccarat is dealt out of a shoe, it isn't true that every hand is independent. Card imbalances change the immediate odds just as in blackjack. However, the magnitude of these changes isn't as...

Re: questions about casino promotion that im too dumb to figure out

[ QUOTE ]

I would guess it's closer to 1:3-1:5. Since they're basing points on total handle, the ratio should be close to the expected win rate. Let's guess 1 point for every $20.

Re: questions about casino promotion that im too dumb to figure out

$5 coin in on a slot machine = 1 reward credit at Harrahs.

So 167K reward credits is roughly equivalent to $800,000 coin in on slots.

Blackjack reward credits are probably about 1/10 of...

Re: Blackjack betting system as proxy for card-counting

Your expected return on a hand following a loss is marginally higher than that of a hand following a win (assuming no shuffle in between). But tailoring a betting system to this observation isn't...

Re: Golden Touch Blackjack

My personal observation is that it's not much harder to learn and use an unbalanced level 1 count like KO or Red 7. You'll get roughly a 3x increase in your earn rate using KO/Red 7 over Golden...
