Re: Mock scenario with QQ facing a lot of PF heat

At this point I am almost always playing for set value. With that in mind, I will call and hope to flop it and go to stack city. Given the reraise range of a normal villain. UTG+1 is given respect...

Re: 100 NL | flopped 2 pair dangerous board

standard, he played it like a draw. I don't think you're losing to anything but AJ or 9Tc here. He called which is an abysmal call with a flush draw. I don't see how you can get away from this...

Re: Stars $50 - limp/reraise with AA

[ QUOTE ]
Its pretty bad if you are only limp reraising AA/KK.

[/ QUOTE ]

As previously stated, mix it up with AKs and QQ if you do this. Maybe even weaker hand once in a blue moon. As...

Re: NL25 fold TPTK against unknown here?

Your 1/2 pot bet on turn shows weakness. I would definitely call this river given the weakness that you displayed.

Re: NL100 - Is This Standard?

I don't think you can get called by anything but a flush from UTG+1. I think popping it to 50 would be better because Ah could be dragged along with the inside draw+fdraw.

Pokerstars E-check deposit option

I have the e-check deposit option which is free which is very nice. However, it requires you to provide your SSN. This really does not tickle my fancy. I just don't feel comfortable giving out that...

Re: AA hands - 2 big losses - am i playing badly here??

Hand 1: I think you are committed on the turn after you lead out. I like a c/c there, but sometimes you will get it all in no matter what.

Hand 2: Push after he raises on the flop!

Re: Folded AK to raise PF (Standard??)

If you repop it this seems to be the person that will not fold it nomatter what you have. In that case, I always think a call is much better than a raise since we really have no fold equity. If we...

Re: 100NL AQ TPGK facing donk bet

He leads this flop with any two pair or combo draw most of the time (at least I would). A read would be nice.

Re: 50NL: AA facing a turn check raise

I think a fold is fine. Check behind on the turn would tickle my fancy.

Re: NL100: Yet another \"Fold KK PF\" post

Fold! In all my hands in these situations, this is almost always AA. Of course, when you see someone do this all the time then it's not. I would fold as played.

Re: NL25 AK preflop in limp+raise+call pot, NLHTAP concept

You lose value by doing that. Normally the only thing that will call that is JJ, QQ, KK, AA or AK....Given that range, I don't think that's ever a profitable play unless you know that the villain...

Re: Folding KK Pre-flop

I can fold it preflop no problem. It is very situation and player dependent. Oftentimes it is difficult because by the time you figure out he has AA then you only have about 20bb left in which case...

Re: NL50 QQ rough spot

I don't see how you call that flop and then fold the turn. Are we wanting a queen on the turn? By calling and then checking the turn you are giving the pot away as the villain is almost always...

Re: How to play flopped nuts here?

flop bet isn't bad. Low ball the turn. I think sometimes I give the villain a chance to hang himself on the river. Two pair would have reraised you on the flop and the only thing that is calling...

Re: NL50:SB special flops nut, turn pairs board. Do I miss value here?

I c/c river as played. I don't think you even have an option of reraising the turn since he didn't even make it a min. raise.

Re: 50 NL TAKING A SHOT

I find 50nl almost comparable to 25nl except that people play a little more aggressive. I find that people at 25nl will often slow play vulnerable hands more often than at 50nl.

Re: nl100 called SS\'er by mistake, flopped royal flush draw....

Standard after the pf call, I find myself not paying attention to stacks in this situation often.
