Re: Pooh-Bah Post: Table Selection and Regulars (Why Im not at ur tabl

I don't agree that trying to find soft games would hurt your development at all. Exploiting weak players for maximum value is probably the most important skill you can have. A lot of regulars I see...

Top2 limped pot / Linecheck against relative unknown

Havn't been at the table long. From what I know of Villian he's Tag but his bet-sizing has been somewhat strange - some overbets/underbets. Easy river fold correct? And how's the rest of my line?

Re: Pooh-Bah Post: Table Selection and Regulars (Why Im not at ur tabl

I have to disagree with you Shizzle - I think it's much easier to make money off simply bad players than bad regulars who are super-predictable but don't make plainly idiotic mistakes like calling...

Re: How to go on here

Whatever he got this far with he's not folding now - I just give it up and take a free card if he offers one. And your c-bet will have to be a push or enough to oblige you to call a c/r if you're...

Re: One of the toughest hands I\'ve played - 200NL

I fold the flop to the enormous raise every time without major history - he has two-pair or a set and doesn't want you to draw - either that or he has a huge draw himself with which you're flipping...

Re: 100NL: Does bluff/shove on scary turn have FE here?

Also, don't float the c/r - this is NL100, against an unknown it's just spew.

Re: 100NL: Does bluff/shove on scary turn have FE here?

Don't bluff here without a very specific read - and you don't have any read.

Re: Live: 88 in MP vs. very passive table, I get c/r\'ed AI on flop

Wow, that's awful - I'd rather play donkaments - at least there's some play near the start. 10/20 - 2/5NL with 300 cap on pot - lol? I want to start playing live soon myself, mainly for fun and being...

Re: Live: 88 in MP vs. very passive table, I get c/r\'ed AI on flop

Sign me up for fold even though you're getting decent odds - and it must be a pain playing so shortstacked - like a permanent tournament.

Re: 100NL - Weird spot with a flopped set against a reg.

I like betting more on flop and turn - 2/3 on the river. Maybe the guy just decided 'To hell with it, I'm going to limp my AJ, AQ, 54s, Axs, KQ,(and so on) this hand'.

Re: Help me with the basics please.

In hand 1 the CO is very short and obviously an idiot so I like a crai on the turn.

In hand 2 yes, you definitely need to raise this turn and it is very very standard to do so. Make it 10. If he...
