Re: $16 - J8s vs solid regular

I think the problem with raising here is that C-betting is going to take more of your stack than you'd like it to and you can get yourself into trouble.

I used to raise a lot in this situation,...

Re: ($24) TT in SB vs. CO\'s raise. Line check

Mmmm, shoving is a tad unconventional as we're not even close to being shortstacked yet but the more i think about it it doesn't seem that bad.

Could we re-raise PF here? Or is that too...

Re: Live $1/$2 game, tricky AA, 250BB deep...

If you lead the flop here (and it's a fine choice imo), then i would prefer a 3-bet after his raise. This hand makes me scared of playing with 250BBs behind lol, is everyone at the table this deep or...

Re: NL 50- Good spot for 2nd barrel?

Ignoring the math, i always raise the BB 3*BBs if i'm in the SB althought i raise 4*BBs when opening in any other position.
I know you want to take the pot down PF, but raising 3BBs means a lot of...

Re: 50 NL- Slowplayed to Death?

Raising to isolate here is fine and pretty standard.

Re: T9s RR pot. Line Check

He's calling $7 to win $30 so he's getting 4.28 to one yeh.

You don't need over 5-1 though, the chances of making the flush are 18%, which is basicaly 4-1.

Re: 50 NL- Slowplayed to Death?

I'd raise the flop after he leads, but raising waiting for the turn is fine. I'd make it $10-12 on the turn if i flat called the flop but that's nitpicking really.

Fold the river and save the hero...

Re: NL2: Bottom set facing minraise and river bet on scaryish board

Re-raise the turn, a min raise at these levels is generaly the sign of a very strong hand(or one the villain thinks is very strong). I'd make it .7 and call a shove.

Don't raise all in on the...

Re: T9s RR pot. Line Check

I play it the same, maybe someone will advocate raising the flop or turn, but i really don't think it achieves anything here.

Re: NL50: 3 barrels against 2+2er

I think the 2nd barrel is ok, but i'm really not sure about the 3rd one.

What does it acheive? What better hands are you getting to fold?

If he's decent, i would imagine his calling range on...

Re: AQ - Turn resistance. HATE to let it go...

I make it .50 to play PF, fold the turn.

I think this hand brings about a good strat point that you should allways plan ahead and think what you are going to do on later streets. Before you call a...

Re: Shocking AK hand, be gentle...

I like the way you played it. I think a lot of players would bet the turn there and i think that would be a bit of a mistake.

Not sure about PF, i don't think it's as clear cut as some people are...

Jesus christ where did you find this table?????

Re: BB defense turns B2P 5-way

I don't think either play is that much better/worse than the other.

Istewart, why would you weight his range more towards overpairs? From my experience, a lot of players are apt to limping with...
