Re: NL25 JJ in BB BTN 4bets AI

Yeah, I probably gambol versus a short-stacking button-raiser. I think your range is worst-case scenario.

Re: $25NL: Is this a bad line with AK?

Darn short-stackers.
I don't like your line at all. Either check or push on the flop. Your weak c-bet almost forces him to push the turn.

Is it worth exercising pot control? Considering its a reraised pot - when the money goes all in, what percentage of the time against your 'average' player are we good here?

Re: $50nl all-in nut flush draw

Why the flop bet? It's really weak, and sets up the pre-flop aggressor to raise you. Just check and see what he does.

Also, remember that the power of pushing with a draw is in the fold equity. ...

Re: NL25 - Should we fold QQ preflop here?

I think you should call. But you're basically playing for set value.

I'd love to hear from people that can fold QQ pre-flop.

What do you think BTN is calling a raise with preflop? I think a pair+GS is reasonable for an unknown to put a weak raise in like this.

Re: .10/.25...I cant get my head around TT

You should definitely play TT aggressively pre-flop.

Hand 1 - Check the flop. You can always check-raise if he makes a weak c-bet.

Hand 2 - You have $14 left, a $20 pot, and a nice turn scare...

Re: I boated up on the river. How much to bet?

The question you have to ask is, "What percentage of hands is he calling a $9-11 bet with but folding to a shove?" I'm not sure there are many hands that fall into that category, so shoving is...

Re: Get your n00b out, uNL--Volume 2

Could one of you define "stack-a-donk" for me? Does it refer to a specific play, like raising all-in on the turn to a small donk bet? Or is it just generic term?

25NL - Tough flop decision, even with AA?

In the 25K hands I've played since I got PokerTracker, I've never folded AA after the flop. Does this look like a good time to start? This was my third hand at the table, so no reads (yeah,...

Re: 10NL - QQ AIPF?

If you were BB, what would you shoving range be? Probably 88+, AQ+ or something.
