So, given that information, what do you...

HUSng: A9 vs. Manic

Playing a HUSnG at the 33 level on FT vs. an absolute maniac. He pushes about 90% of his hands preflop. I'm waiting for any pair or A-10 or better to call him. But I don't hit anything close until...

Re: New to HUTorneys. A few quick Q\'s.

Can we get someone to write a FAQ on this? I'll do it if no one else wants to, but being generally new to HUSnG's compared to others I may need help with the numbers.

99 is on the lower end of my calling range (88+/AQ+), but without a read I think folding is terrible.

Re: 22 NLTRN - Playing 22 OOP

Ok. I'm assuming you call. Then do you play for set value only?

That's how I was playing these hands (22-66) before trying this approach.

22 NLTRN - Playing 22 OOP

First level of a HU tournament, and about even chip stacks.

The only read on villian so far is that he will not play every hand preflop...but this was my first chance to reraise him preflop. ...

Re: 22 NLTRN - 99 first hand

If he has at least two overcards here close to 100% of the time do you still call this early in the tournament.

Say he is a player who plays AA and KK like this never, 10-QQ 25% of the time, and...

Re: NL Cash Heads up at Pokerstars?

The average losing online poker player does not care about rakeback as much as they care about FPP's where they can buy cool things.

Re: PoohBah Post: Playing OOP in HUSNGs

Awesome post!

I am fairly new to HU play, but there was something I was wondering today: What are the winrates of others from the BB? Just curious if anyone would like to share.

Re: $11 NLTRN, trying to fix my leaks

I call the flop unless I have a read that he is able to fold to a flop raise, then I might put in a raise.

I'd say call 75% raise 25%

Re: NLTRN - missed draw, hit TP

You are down to 1000 and the blinds are 15/30...why make any sort of move with K6 on the flop? You can find a ton of better spots to make a move than this one.

Re: $50 HU match; 2 hands; same opponent, different match

I disagree with pushing the flop in hand 2. I fold to the turn all-in, and then play this hand exactly the same next time I have top pair or better (maybe even mid pair).
