How deep can Heads Up strategy go?

How deep can No Limit Heads Up strategy actually go? Is it possible to win consistently at HU ... as much as you could in ring games?

I mean, in HU you're both "in the spotlight," both...

Re: Over-betting Aces a good or bad idea?

It definitely works in low limit STTs when the table's shorthanded (during which, according to one winning strategy, your only moves should be Fold or All-In).

It's a great feeling when you steal...

Re: donkey players

Donkeys are great. All you have to do is get a monster hand and the hand will practically play itself.

Good players love donkeys. When you're up against a donkey, you have one less thing to...

Re: How gamblers can make a better world

Hey, cool idea. Like a survival-of-the-fittest to find those people who are best at predicting our future (and what better motivator than money).

Kinda dazed

So, last night I met this girl.

Couple years ago, I envisioned my "dream girl." Totally hot, petite, charismatic, talkative, feisty. Just... full of life and personality. I met her last night....

Re: Vote on whether poker is skill or chance

We should do the vote again, except only allow winning players to vote!! Of course the losing players think they're losing because of chance, and not for their lack of skill....

It's like whining...

Re: Vote on whether poker is skill or chance

Neither choice is correct! Poker is using skill to minimize the effect of chance. Poker is both skill and chance.

The problem at the core of this debate is the ambiguity of the definition of...

Re: Why is 6 handed poker so popular online?
