Re: $5 MTT,final table bubble

My initial reaction was fold, but I like Ham's suggestion of limping for all the reasons he mentioned. I do think though that if the table is super uber tight you can push here

Re: A-K - late in tourney

If he actually had AA and smoothcalled, then ok,gg,nothing you can do. Don't look for monsters everytime this happens. Yes,I've had people do this to me with AA,but I've also seen players do this many...

Re: FTP Daily Double, tough spot on flop w/ AA

Ya,just a crap spot all around, but with no reads, I really don't think you can fold though. Seriously,Deuceseven is right,so many players that will do this w KQ etc,I'm never folding here

Re: PS $3/rebuy - trouble with AJ

I bet the flop here,TP and the backdoor, think you are good here alot.

Does anybody rr pre? You are well ahead of button and this is one that would be nice to take down preflop.

Re: Things it took me a while to learn, Part 11, Time and Tilt Management

Thankyou Bond,quality as always.

Luckily for me,I'm not really prone to tilt,I keep my emotions under control(most of the time)and accept variance for what it is.

What I'm taking away from this...

Re: a 10 on the river!!!

KQo oop against 2 players...yea,I think it's pretty bad.I know I'm not good enough to play that kind of a hand in that pos for a profit

Re: 2.7 million with AQ

Don't know why you can't call here and play poker. Your stack is very akward for a rr,you will pretty much be committed to the hand if you do. I'm not saying you should never raise here,if villain is...

Re: a 10 on the river!!!

Umm,I think your preflop call is bad,I think your flopcall is bad. Shoving on the turn the way you've played is obv ok. Oh,and you hardly ever have 10 out after the flop btw.

Re: Live Poker Adjustments/Considerations/Tendencies (Discuss please)

Very interesting and informative post....not that I've ever seen Bond post anything that is not,but I thought I'd say it anyway.....:)

I thought I'd throw in my two cents as well. I do play a fair...

Re: $5.50 - AKs in SB, is this a fold?

You say that with you M=40 you are not desperate to accumulate chips. There's a massive flaw in this argument. You've got AK for goodness sake,it's a big hand. If you are laying this down then I don't...

Re: Line check 2 hands with monster stack in $30 Full Tilt tournament...

Hand 1

I don't think you are good here very often. His 1200 bet commits him,and I think you'll see an overpair here alot!! But with your stack compared to his, can't say I blame you...hell,I prob...

Re: play this with me 10 10 facing a mp min raise

300 + your cbet of around 800 = 30%

Anyhoo,it's still a push and really not that close

Re: JJ facing < 1/2 pot donk on A high flop

He's got A-rag.....putting more money in commits you.....he's not folding if you push.....just fold and mutter some choice words.....

Re: whats your play ???

I think this is totally read dependent. If BB is tight, this is an easy fold, you'd be at best in a coinflip,if he's capable of making a move, then you can think about calling,I do think you'll see AK...

Re: play this with me 10 10 facing a mp min raise

Huh? Are you really going to put in 30% of your stack and then fold to a raise??? Please don't. Calling should never be an option here, ever.

Personally I push this. With no reads, his raise is just...

Re: flopping a draw oop what to do now?

I make it 250ish and obv calls if he shoves. I think an openshove here screams draw so I don't like that, nor do I like the c/r. With your stack you have no FE if you c/r,and if he checks as...

I'm not sure about the M question here, and I don't think it's incredibly relevant right now.

You're short and need a double up if you want 1st/2nd, plain and simple really.

Re: AK late in sattelite - help me to play it correctly

I push pre,no doubt about that. As played, well,I can't see myself folding here. You have already invested 20% of your stack, what was your plan for this hand when you raised? To me,that's what it...

Re: Big raise, fold or insta-shove?

Yeah, def raise flop here, but you already know that....the way I see it,OR could have pretty much anything here.SB's bet is so weak,so is your call,no reason for him to put either of you on much. I...
