Re: Homegame short on money at cashout

Try talking, as opposed to texting, to the player. It's a novel concept, but it might work.

I accidently noticed that I hadn't paid my buy-in when had an extra c-note in my wallet when I got...

Re: Getting from NYC to Borgata without a car

Hmmm. Let's see. You live in the largest city in the US. You can't figure out how to get to the most "famous" casino in the second largest gambling city in the US. Give me a break.

Re: Cash-out / Buy-in

This happens quite frequently in AC. The cash must stay on the table and is in play.

Re: Epassporte Help?

I used my debit card from BofA. It took the small charge about 20 minutes to show up as pending. I then made a deposit with no problem except that I have to call BofA to get my card reactivated as...

Re: Vegas casino question

If you have a bank acccount, see if you bank will run them through the coin counter. Otherwise, get some free wrappers from the bank and wrap them yourself while you are watching television.

Pre-flop, fold or cold call if you think you others will come in behind you.

I think a 3-bet is pretty standard here.

Re: 30/60- KQ facing 3bet c/r on a Q-high drawy flop

I think you are either slightly ahead, or way (nearly dead) behind. You're dead against a set. If someone has JT, a K is no good against Q9. and Kh is no good against a flush draw. If you call, CO...

Re: Turn decision with draw.

Fold. Someone probably already has a straight that is bigger than the one you are drawing to. If someone has two pair or a set, 8c or Qc will fill them up. So we're looking at 7 outs or 39:7 or...

Re: Taking Advantage of Mr. Preflop Aggressor

Sometimes even a blind squirrel finds the nuts. I'd have folded on the flop. Pre-flop, fold or cold call if you think you others will come in behind you.

Re: I have red cards. The board has all black cards

easy fold. You've got 10 non-nuts outs (non-spade 3,5,7,8) at most and have to dodge a spade, and there is a good chance you are drawing nearly dead to a made flush.

Re: 10/20 Turn Decision

You've got top pair top kicker heads-up with a raggedy board, 3-bet (if you think he will fold) or call (if you would fold to a 4-bet). On the river, bet out if you improve or there is no straight or...

Re: Two Entirely Read Based Hands

Hand1: should have raised from the SB and bet out. Now just call and check call the river, unless your pretty darn sure someone was slowplaying a set. Your getting 8.5:2 on your calls assuming...

Re: DC to Atlantic City Shortcut Thread

Re: Another borg 10/20 hand.

I would have checked behind. The way you played is classic free card flop raise. Villian will probably check raise. Is their any hand that you can put the villian on that he will call?
