Live Cash Spread Limit Strategy

My local casino(Bay 101) is having 10-400 and 5-200 spread limit games. The max. bet is 400 and 200, accordingly. The max. buy is relatively small, 40BB. Normally, preflop raise is 4-5BB, and at...

Re: Brag: First Time Live NL (tripreport tl;dr)

Have you realized how much rake you pay? For my local casio, they charge at least $4 each pot for NL1-2. I think that is a beat.

Re: deep stack 50nl

It is fishy that he cold called your re-raise from BB. Looks like JJ or TT to me. As played, I would probably fold the turn. All the hands such as JJ, TT, QQ, and AK had you beat.

Re: NL200...KK facing 5bet pf....deep stacks

I don't play NL200. However, with this deep, if I were the villian I would probably cold call your preflop 4th bet and try to get you in on the flop with position. Any thoughts?

Re: Top Pair Test for Newbies

I guess we can rule out KQ, AQ or set types of hands since most likely villian would have either re-raised preflop or bet the turn when checked to. So, I would say villan probably had AT, KT, or KJ...

I might fold the turn. Given how you got there I think you have to call the river. I raise the flop a lot too since it has a frush draw

Re: Pot control gone bad

[ QUOTE ]
No need to be lost IMHO. You are only beat, realistically, by 77 and 44 with AA being an outside possibility. A7 would suck but with some opponents is a possibility. That flop is...

Re: ddd

I think CO had AK. People rarely limps at cutoff with AA or KK. But I probably would have folded to UTG's reraise.

Re: Fold both of these rivers? $100 NL

Hand one: If you call the turn bet, I don't see folding on the river bet. If I were you, I would lead out on the turn, instead of check/call.

Re: A couple $100 NL hands
