Re: NL 50 Good spot to dubble barrel?

Yeah I like the double barrel here

I might bet like 5-6 though instead of 7 but I don't think it is that huge of a deal

Re: NL25: Flop nuts heads up, river makes second nuts.. fold ever?

There is a balance between betting for value and betting for protection.

Bet enough so that he doesn't have odds to call but not so much that he folds. Donkey's are more than willing to call bets...

Re: 25nl: KK in the blinds

Your preflop bet gives him odds to crack your over pair if you are unable to fold big pairs.

Tough spot.

Re: 50NL - top pair OOP

I would pot the flop.

I like the 3/5 bet on the turn.

River is a fold but I do really wonder what he has.

Re: NL25: Flop nuts heads up, river makes second nuts.. fold ever?

If you are always aggressive with mediocre hands and always passing/trapping with good hands you are extremely exploitable

Re: NL50 JJ facing heat on a drawy flop OOP. Plan of attack?

You have an overpair versus a donkey. He might have you beat but be prepared to lose a stack every once and a while and 3-bet the flop to 20 and call a push.

Re: NL50 87s flops second pair in position. Plan for the hand.

Versus weak tight opponents I would bet 4.5, but if I have any form of table image I would lean to checking on the turn since aggression breeds calling stations.

Re: NL25: Flop nuts heads up, river makes second nuts.. fold ever?

The question here is not in whether or not you should call the river but in how you played the hand itself.

With 200xbb the call with position preflop is fine.

However, your min raise on the...

Re: 25NL TT multiway

I push and stack off versus k4os

I think your raise on the flop is decent, but pf I prefer to make it 6-8xbb

Re: TPTK facing aggression

If he is as aggressive as you say than I believe this is a push.

I think a case can be made for 3-betting the flop as well versus a very loose aggressive player.

Re: **Official uNL Microbrew thread: August PT 2**

If you are really aggressive on average you will might get a flop bet out of him

Re: 25nl - turn decision with KQs

If I had a read that villain was really tight or it was higher limits I would fold preflop but generally speaking I feel folding KQs at 25nl, even though I am OOP, is a lil weak tight.

Re: 25nl - turn decision with KQs

I lead the flop for value and to protect my hand

Do you think I am pot committed if I bet since I have 18 left behind with a 12 dollar pot

25nl - turn decision with KQs

No real reads.

I think I played the hand pretty standard up to the turn but of course all advice is appreciated.

I am just wondering what exactly to do here.

Re: Is this play ok? QK flush/straight draw against a reraise (set?)

Only thing I would do different is bet the pot on the flop and 3-bet push all in

Check/call the river?

Yeah villain could also have JT and a myriad of other drawing hands and I realize that calling gives him the odds to catch, but this is how I see it

Assuming that villain is a looser player of...

Re: NL50 KQ 2 pair line vs 3 flush flop

If you re-raise the turn do you fold to a push?
