Re: live 67s Button

I definitely disagree with all the people saying that a pf raise is possibly +ev. It's freaking 4/8 game, people! The primary reasons for raising (metagame, hand disguising) are pretty much...

Re: 6/12 live-betting into a PF raiser with less than top pair?

Right, and I'm used to the fishy, loosey-goosey live games. I realize that it may seem like 4 to the flop is a rocky game, but it's HIGHLY likely that the OP's game was one of TPs, not of TAGs or...

I think this is totally wrong. If limping is -ev, it is only slightly so, assuming that the OP is capable postflop and...

Re: common spot: TPGK OOP multiway vs PFR

What am I missing? The pot is large, our hand is strong yet vulnerable, the likely bettor/raiser is to our left, the field is large...um...lead and get the pfr to cut down on the field's odds.

Play them fast.

Re: live 6/12, TT HJ

So by betting out when the A hits you're telling the checkers you have one.

This assumes that they try to read hands. They don't. Even the ones who do will throw their...

Fold this on the turn, your KK are just another underpair drawing to two outs.

Re: 2/4 B&M - I don\'t raise a single time with KK; standard?

Obviously reraise preflop, but since you got confused due to the straddle it's no big deal.

I think the only decision is whether to crying call on the river or fold getting around eleventy...

Re: two hands where i turn into a calling pumpkin

I can't even imagine how nitty another player must be for me to play either hand like this on either of the big bet streets.

What limit was this?

Hand 1:

Preflop raise is meh. You have an equity edge, sure, but it isn't that huge and this is one of the rare times that I think passing on the pf edge to increase your...

Re: hand reading exercise

My original thoughts were AxKx (no diamond), AxQx, or AxQd. Obviously the AQ hands depend on how much the "young kid" who knew who you were was adjusting to the spewtard UTG and how much pb was...

Re: Questionable call downs in Oceanside

Hand one is read-dependent. Has she been crazy? Passive? Any body language tells? Without reads I would call down.

Hand 2 I would definitely just call the flop and reevaluate on the turn; the...

UTGs range is probably AT+ 66+

[/ QUOTE ]

If this is true then this is a super duper easy turbo muck preflop.

As played, peel the flop and proceed with caution.

One possible way to play this which I hardly think to do is call the flop and consider checkraising, checkfolding, or checkcalling the turn depending on what it brings.

Re: A5 Blind Steal Live 10/20 Motor City

I fold preflop.

As played, I would 3bet the turn. He won't show up with JJ (reraise pf) or J5 (he's a TAG). The only hand that worries me is 54s, but that is only one of a large number of hands...
