Re: NL50: 3 barrels against 2+2er
I included it to show that villain may be a loose preflop player. I don't then automatically assume that he is going to be loose post. In fact, the reason I even fired 2 let alone 3 barrels here was...

Re: NL50: 3 barrels against 2+2er
People put way too much stock in stats over meaningless sample sizes imo. Your aggression factor was 1 over that sample, that doesn't mean I had you pegged as passive (in fact, I pretty much ignored...

Re: NL50: 3 barrels against 2+2er
The prior hand where Shipit called a 6BB raise OOP with 87s didn't really give either of us any useful info. One of the limpers called. Flop was AJ2 montone (Shipit flopped a flush), checked it, the...

Re: NL50, 3betting AQ from the blinds, bad line?
[ QUOTE ]
Betting this flop while getting a call from all of his range is ofcourse profitable, however, I will be giving up any potcontrol. If I bet this flop and he calls, I will have to bet the...

Re: NL50: 3 barrels against 2+2er
Yeah, I was surprised to see AK to be honest, but that can't have been an easy river call. I don't think I would have made it.
And to those saying ShipIt is passive, the sample size is 40 hands....

Re: NL50: 3 barrels against 2+2er
Villain is 2+2, I'd be shocked if he called 3 streets with AT here. I think AK may fold here too, as he only really beats a bluff, or is chopping.

Re: NL50: 3 barrels against 2+2er
Agreed that many hands that beat me, but I think he's raising 2 pair+ on this drawy board. The previous hand has shown he's willing to call raises with suited connectors OOP, so I imagine he can call...

NL50: 3 barrels against 2+2er
Villain is ShiptFMA, I have him at 15/12/1 over 40ish hands.
Don't know what my stats were, but I'd been tight. Don't know if any of my hands had gone to showdown.
A few hands before I raised 55...

Re: 50NL KK
Absolutely bet this flop. It's too drawy to be giving free cards, and a Q is going nowhere. You can't be afraid of scaring away worse hands everytime you have a big hand yourself or you'll just win a...

NL50: KK rr pot, villain probably thinks I\'m FOS
Villain was running 25/15/1.5 over 60 hands, I'm about 18/14/2 over same period.
He seems to be playing pretty solid, but no valuable showdown information as yet.
I've 3bet his UTG opens three...

Re: NL100: AJs in rr pot against uber-LAG
I should have added that as maniacal as his stats suggest, he definitely knows where the fold button is, and would probably muck a T here to a turn bet. He would also pounce on weakness, so I was...

Re: (NC) post on tone
I'd also add that lots of people will move to this forum from uNL, and may will be posting seemingly standard hands that they are unsure on because of the increased aggression at 100NL and higher. I...

NL100: AJs in rr pot against uber-LAG
Villain was 65/41/2.5 over 40ish hands, I was about 18/15/3.
He min 3bet me earlier, I 4 bet with AK, and he folded to a flop c-bet on a J high flop. He's been making big bluffs and overbets with...

Re: Facing a 100BB AI and I\'m holding AK Preflop
Pretty easy fold until you see him doing it with any regularity or think he's tilting. Some people often shove JJ and lower to a reraise, much less so AQ/AJ, so you're either a slight underdog or...

Re: Top set should fold?
Actually a pot size raise is to $2.40, and I'm raising it to at least this amount given it's multiway and pretty drawy, makes it a lot easier to get it in on turn.

NL50: KJs picks up FD OOP on turn on AA53 board
villain hasn't been at table long so no real reads. In the time he's been there I've been tight (if he's paying attention). Never really sure what to do against unknowns in spots like these.
I'm...

Re: KK and terrible flop
I'm with Shattered on this one, his thoughts are spot in imo.
Yes I bet an ace here, as I do with 44 or 76s. However, sometimes I'll check the flop with AK, checking more often with AA, sometimes...
