In what way? I've only broadly skimmed the whole post but #9 seems broadly valid. As a contrived...

you need to hit in order for this to work and with no one else in the hand I do not see you coming out on top in this. How did you end up?

Re: I frop quads 100r death table

Shaun's right.

As played, you are in position with 2/3 pot behind and three streets to showdown. What calls a shove, calls a shove on any street, but I'd suggest there is slightly more value in...

Re: FT Sunday 750K - AKs twice with different results.

You have flopped a pair on a board where he is either never calling or never folding so check I'd check behind, content to lose value from JJ and AQ on this street.

Fold to the CR. Of course it's...

Re: I know I\'m beat... I call?!?

If you play volume online, keep a log of these situations over a week or so and then review it.

The issue is how many of the times our 'gut' is actually correct, rather than just memorably...

Re: ($109) Going broke w/ AQ in an unraised pot

There's a time and place for everything in poker, except limping AQo UTG full-ring with these stacks. I'd have to have a super player dependent line to ever take that line. Like there has to be...

Re: Turn spot in the stars 320

I'd always fold pf but if I hadn't, I'd donk the flop. Any reasonable bet puts UTG+1 to a stack decision and if he's willing to ship it in then on that flop, he wasn't bet/folding the flop anyway and...

Re: Very ugly spot w/ set vs. THE__D__RY in 50r

Well, if the plan is to snap call a shove, then fine. But, no, I don't really like that plan because, IMO, people aren't playing all that loose at this stage with those stacks in the $50r. OK, the 3k...

Re: Very ugly spot w/ set vs. THE__D__RY in 50r

That's a really horrible flop bet size from UTG into eight players, on that flop, with the whole table but one player in with a huge range. What possible good can come of it?

The idea here is that he should perceive your range to be KK+ or whatever.

But you don't really give us enough info or any sort of reason to believe hes going to just c/f a lot.

Re: I have a plan

Hmmn. You might be right. OTOH, as I say, villain was good, he was opening small pretty regularly in EP. The AA hand, I'd pushed 4k the previous hand and then pushed 5k, I got a call and he tanked in...

Re: I have a plan

Yeah, I think that unless he's opening the top 20% of his range, I can take this away enough to turn a profit, or at least that it's possibly as good a gamble as I'm likely to get at this stage with...

I have a plan

$50r. I normally don't post these hands since people used to make fun of me when I did. However, because of the image that I have presented to the raiser I think that calling here looks massively...

Re: Is there any way I\'m going to get more money in good v Westmenlo?

What do we get value out of?

Edit: to expand - there's minutes to the end of the rebuy period. Look at the stacks - it's a tight table. The only guy looser than me has just bust. He has the table...

What does he call with that hasn't already shoved or isn't ahead? Thus, should I check the flop?

Is there any way I\'m going to get more money in good v Westmenlo?

$50r. I've splashed around a bit as usual but the rebuy period is about to end and I kind of figured that he knows my range is pretty tight here (he can read your soul, I hear).

On the flop, is there anything in his range that you can protect your hand from? Does he pay off with worse? Can you now or will you later be able to fold out a better hand? I'd suggest the answer is...

if you're not willing to c-bet when you miss, fold pre.

Not exactly. There couldn't really be a worse board to c-bet than this one.

Re: 6max - TT with 3 overcards on board, can I call here profitably?

You know this guy is going to fire the river if you check-call turn and then check to him again so, as played, call. If you don't want to call the river, but do want to call the turn, then block the...

Call. Hate poker.

[/ QUOTE ]

I like this best.

He's laying us huge odds to call with all of our made range.

I repeat, why is he raising if he's snapping off bluffs?

I've played it twice. It's unquestionably tougher (on the first table every player rated as profitable - like wow in online poker). And Johnny Lodden was on my left.

Anyway, after a while, I...
