Re: QQ in 3-bet pot

After his re-raise preflop I'm mainly calling for set value. I don't think Villain has anything other than KK or AA after his flop bet.

Re: 25NL - flop TPTK - lots of action in 3 way pot

Baintz that's funny because you might be the first player I've come across at the 25NL tables on Bodog where I thought 'this guy's gotta be a 2p2er'.

But the results of this hand really floored me.

25NL - flop TPTK - lots of action in 3 way pot

BB is running 20/11/3.88 over 205 hands. Decent TAG.

UTG is nothing special. No significant reads.

Re: 25NL, Turn gives me 2pr but Villain pushes

Fixed OP to show how many hands I have on him. It's a decent amount so I feel pretty strongly about my read.

25NL, Turn gives me 2pr but Villain pushes

Reads: Villain is 39/9/2.75 (over 130 hands) and capable of doing this with any Ace and likely any two pair. KT did complete a straight but why would he push here? If he had AQ, I'm almost positive...

Re: 50nl AA line check

If you put Villain on a bluff, why RRAI? You just said you're not concerned about draws. I would call and hope he fires again on the river. He's only calling your push with a set or straight here.

Re: Flop nut straight.

If you're going to check-raise on the flop, I would make a meaningful raise (the first time). But this flop hits so many hands that I would just bet out with the intention of shoving against a...

Re: ATo - TPTK on ugly flop

Raise to .40 preflop.

Fold TPTK heads up on a draw-heavy flop? No.

Re: 10k hands Full tilt 10NL Breakeven - PLS check my stats

You're also not averaging much money per hand with Aces or AKs, and I'm guessing perhaps other premium starting hands as well. Those should really be big money makers for you in the long run IMO. You...

Re: How did I play this postflop?

I see donks check/min-raise turns like this with much less than trips all the time. I don't see any glaring problems the way you played this hand postflop. I might have checked behind on the turn for...

Re: NL25 1st time posting HH

Fold preflop. Fold turn. Fold river.

Re: AA too agressive?

Raise a little more preflop. You're out of position. I'd make it 1.3-1.5 to go. Make it a PSB on the flop.

Agreed.

Preflop is a toss-up between a call and a re-raise since you have the button. TT is a borderline hand for me, I probably flatcall and hope for a...

Re: NL20, marginal spot with AQ on the BTN

Checking behind on the turn for pot control is fine, but when you do this you need to call the small-ish bet on the river.

Re: NL25 AK - OCs+2ndNutFD against midstack

With the Ac, I don't mind this play. With the 2nd nut flush draw it's a little more iffy, simply for the fact that the Ac is now a part of Villain's range and your outs may no longer be good.

Re: What it do uNL? NL50~Facing turn pooosh...now what?!

You're definitely behind here, so how willing are you to gamble with only one card to come? Given the preflop action and with his c/r on the flop I'm thinking he has KK-AA, or a set; and I'm leaning...

Re: How would you have played? Bet too less on the flop?

Check the turn. That card didn't help and is not going to scare Villain. IF you're going to continue your bluff, you need to bet more on the turn ($6 to $7) but I don't think this is a proper spot to...

Re: Xpert minraise rivers 2P

Turn min-raise accomplishes very little IMO. Hero checks this river with good showdown value.

Re: NL25 AA tough decision on turn

Quite frankly I never see players that tight on the site I play on. Small sample size so maybe it's somewhat of a fluke.
In this hand though, I don't see one pair being good. I curse and fold.

Re: Easy fold?

Why bet the river at all if you're going to fold to a min-raise? As played I think you need to call. You're getting more than 5 to 1.

I think the better play is to check/call a smallish bet on the...

Re: 25NL QQ on coordinated flop - speed up or slow down?

Call and evaluate on turn. If he donkbets the turn a decent amount I would consider a fold. Reads would come into play here.

Re: 25NL: River Value with book?????????

35 hands is not a great sample size. His AF is low but you don't know if he's the type of player that would make that river re-raise with a straight, Kx, 22, etc. A lot of times these passive players...
