Re: 600 NL 150 BB deep river decision OOP

[ QUOTE ]
I like rr or fold pre.

[/ QUOTE ]

I like rr preflop, but why do you like folding better than calling?

Re: 600 NL flpo ch raise w/ overpair

Call. I've never played with villian but you are a way ahead of a 23/20/3 regs range here.

[ QUOTE ]
what do you think of my play on before river ?

[/ QUOTE ]

Good. I would sometimes raise the flop because he seems bad enough to call down with worse.

Re: Is c-betting extracting max???

I usually bet all 3. I check hand 1 maybe 20% and check hands 2 and 3 probably 10%.

Re: herd mentality

In my experience, the heard mentality is only a temporarily satisfying end. It's the line of thinking of 'well I'm doing better than x%, so I won't try any harder.' Everyone else is doing x, so...

Re: faith, religion, spirituality

[ QUOTE ]

I think that's way off. There is a word for non-believing - it's atheism. And in fact it can be just as dogmatic as any "positive" religion. It's a strong belief in a thought...

Also, I want to believe in something because when I die, if I am examined, I want it to be that I lived the best life I could, etc.

Re: faith, religion, spirituality

I grew up roman catholic, now I am agnostic I guess, but an atheist at heart. I believe religion is the belief in a higher power that set the wheels in motion to create the universe whether or not...

Re: AK on river and AQ on flop

I fold hand 1.

Hand 2 I don't fold because of the flush/straight draws and the fact that it's easier for SB to bluff here last to act.

Re: 3/6 NL -- Turn line w/ set??

Re: 2/4, I plan on folding a set and follow through

I snap call. You're hand looks really bizarre to your opponent. And even if he does play good post flop, I'm sure a 40/20 is capable of some weird overaggressive plays.

Edit: I also like a turn...

Re: AKo passive pf passive postflop

The river was my biggest concern. On one hand, I don't see him betting many worse hands here, on the other, the flush draw missed and I doubt he puts me on something as strong as AK.

AKo passive pf passive postflop

UTG is a decent aggressive regular. Runs at about 19/16/3.
BB is loose and bad.

I usually 3bet preflop, but I like to mix in calls once in a while.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $6 BB (6...

push.

Good chance he has air/straight draw, and a lot turn cards can make you make a mistake (solid reasoning, I know). If he has a set/overpair, nh.
