Re: Deepish bluff 400NL - ballsm8

This seems like the kind of guy who's folding to every 3-bet saying "I can't wait until I pick up a hand so I can own this guy." I would expect to see at least an overpair here almost every time. ...

Re: PS 400 - Turn shoves make me cry

Looks a lot like JQ/KQ, but you have to be right here pretty much always given the pot size. I'd muck.

Re: goofy bluff vs reg

What 6x can you really rep here? 65/67/A6 are almost certainly betting this flop.

Re: 3/6 hand against Leatherass

I think this is a set almost always.

Re: BARF what do you do in these spots?

If the flop weren't so drawy you could get away with checking this turn, but as is you'll get called by plenty worse (especially by a 37/8). As Hoopster said it generally makes the hand easier to...

Re: 400nl, 3rd barrel or give up....

Pretty bad hand to resteal with IMO, and if you're going to do it I'd make it larger since you're OOP. As played c/f.

Re: Backing off with AQ

[ QUOTE ]
4-betting with AQ is pretty much the same as 4-betting with 65 here

[/ QUOTE ]
Assuming you meant 3-betting, I strongly disagree with this, especially if the limper is bad (very...

Re: 400NL - Uninteresting hand vs. ColmsUM

I was also thinking a small raise might not be bad. Your PF calling range with a J probably includes mostly suited J's, so it's unlikely you'd raise the flop with one. I think he's firing again here...

Re: $400NL. AQ flops TPTK facing donk bet.

Unfamiliar with the villain but I think a flop raise is pretty bad; with his stats I'd expect to see strong draws and sets.

I'm torn on the turn, although your equity improved a lot against much...

Re: 10/20 spot... kinda deep

Wait I don't understand. He's minraised you before with a monster, and while it's pretty obvious he's not great don't you think when he CMR's this flop he has you at best drawing to 3 outs?

Re: Simple question: Cbet or not Cbet

I like a cbet here. The time to check with an underpair with good showdown value is like KK on A-high flops.

Re: 5/10 - Deep nutstr8 but dengerous board

I like a bet here because you have hearts (end especially Jh) so it's less likely he was just calling down with a FD/combo draw.

This is definitely a fold.

Re: Check up 3/6 set

Yeah I'd just bet the turn again. It's pretty unlikely he's floating you with a midpair or something on this board and will try to take it on the turn, and hands like QJ/JT are checking behind here...

I would like this a lot more if you had a boat.

Re: Flush draw and overs in position vs LAGtard

Sounds like he'll felt 99+ on this flop, so it's fine.

Re: MY FAVOURITE GAME - THE CARDIGANS

Clear raise, especially given your image. I suspect you'd be making this raise with a pretty wide range (and he knows this).

Re: a5 turns two pair

I'd just check the river back. It's hard to put him on a worse hand that will pay you off other than 65, and he would probably CR the flop with that.

Re: three burrel

Villain snap-calls with 77, possibly 6x.

Re: 5/10 AA vs. TAG, Is this bad?

I think a fold here is fine; his line looks pretty strong with both blinds in the pot. I think another option is to call planning to CRAI on a blank turn.

Re: NL600 KT vs bluff?

If he was a thinking player and loose enough to call OOP with 54s/A4s he might have just flatted the flop trying to keep BB in the hand, or to trap you if BB shoves his stack in there with 88 or...

Re: Two KJs hands flopping top pair on raised pots. What to do?

Fold them both PF, especially the second where you're OOP. As played float the first one, fold to a turn bet. The second pretty much illustrates why you should have folded PF: your CR turns your hand...

Re: Tricky spot with TP on monotone board

Since villain is passive, what's our line on a blank river if he flats the turn? C/C up to how much?

Re: I bet for informaiton

I'm not familiar with the villain but assuming he's not terrible you're slightly ahead or way behind here, I like the fold. I agree with you that $100 looks pretty weak there and I don't think you'd...
