I counted the math (more for practice than anything else) and I think the 4:1 you mention is slightly optimistic. 4:1 needs your ace to be good if you hit. Otherwise you only get slightly better than...

I think you should lead out stronger on the flop try and build a pot early, if you were only called then you would have had to work alot harder to build a pot on the turn.

Once you're raised on the turn I think you've gotta let it go. Villain is passive and does this with a worse hand rarely IMO, perfect spot for Baluga....
