Re: blind steal gone wrong to weak? 50nl

[ QUOTE ]
How about checking behind the turn here? Your hand really cant stand a raise and Im not sure what youre getting value from here. If he bets the river you can call because you probably...

Re: 50NL bad river with AK

Yeah, I unhappily fold here and wait for a better spot to get my money in against this player. I think we're behind a lot more than we're ahead.

Re: 50NL: KQ Flops 2pr multi-way

[ QUOTE ]
I think the preflop minraise is AA or AK enough that you can safely push. Considering that donks love the minraise and you had an inkling that he was one, it is a good push in my book.

Re: 50NL: JJ gets 3 bet

[ QUOTE ]
I can't 4 bet/fold because of villains stack size.

[/ QUOTE ]
You are correct, sorry, I misread the hand.

Re: 50NL: KQ Flops 2pr multi-way

I don't think I'm leading weak like this when the board is so connected and there are 2 players left to act behind me. Leading strong may help us narrow the hand ranges of players behind us.

As...

Re: 50NL: JJ gets 3 bet

Without any reads on villain it's really hard to tell if this is +EV. What hands are in their 3 bet range? Is villain's 3 bet kind of small given the size of the pot - this could indicate strength?...

Re: NL50: AKs TPTK Facing a Donk Bet on Multiway Wet Flop

1. Mostly ditch, sometimes shove. We haven't invested much money. Happy to fold this in order to get a better read on opponent and wait for a better spot to get my money in good.

2. Mostly ditch,...

Re: 50NL KK

I would also raise a little more pre-flop with this hand. Just to charge the CO raiser a little more to play this pot in position against you. Also, it never hurts to get as much money in PF with...

Re: NL50 - KQ vs donk

This might be a bit weak but I think I am folding here too. I am not very happy about it though.

Villains bets look a little like attempts to keep the street cheap; like she might be drawing to a...

Re: 50NL AQ flopped top pair, what would you guys have done differentl

I am not sure how I feel about checking the turn either.

If you consider the remaining stack sizes there is pretty much only 1 pot-sized bet remaining. If the money doesn't go in on the turn it'll...

Re: Stars 50NL - Aces c/rd on a nasty board, interesting . . .

Thinking about villains action PF (limp-call) - what types of hands she would do this with.

I presume only speculative hands. Small suited connectors and pocket pairs?

I suspect villain wanted...

Re: 50 NL. .. AKs 5 way...

I don't think there's much you can do here. You have to hit the flop really (really) hard in a 5-way pot in order to continue with this hand IMO.

Re: 50nl 2pair kinda deep

I am probably checking behind on the turn here.

Despite hitting 2 pair I think a (readless) villain that donk bets on the flop and calls a large raise (with CO still to act) on this dry board is a...

Re: NL$25: I found this interesting - Trips

Yikes, sorry, I read the turn action wrong.

I think my plan is still the same. Check any river card and call a reasonable sized bet. Like; 2/3 pot or less. Definitely folding to a shove I...

Re: NL$25: I found this interesting - Trips

I think I'm betting more on the turn.

As played I'm probably checking any river card (if checked to) and calling a reasonable sized river bet. Villain has 2.78 aggression yet is playing this hand...

Re: 50NL - Trip A\'s on the river, but do I fold?

I think my read here is that villain flopped a set. Without the flush draw I'm thinking seriously about folding to the turn raise (Baluga?).

I think I'm folding to this large bet on the river;...

Re: 50NL: AJs OOP Awkward Stacks

If we check-call the turn aren't we essentially forcing ourselves into a situation where we have to decide if we want to call a shove on the river?

How do we know whether or not villain is betting...

Re: Winning small pots, losing big pots...

I play TAG and also lose big pots more frequently than I should.

I think the key is to "listen" to their bets. You said that they know how & when to fold and will dump their hand if they miss. ...

Re: 25NL - WTF Turn vs Reg

Villains aggression is not particularly high. Also she doesn't seem to limp a whole lot pre-flop. Me thinks she flopped or turned a set.

Re: 10NL standard fold on river with AA on a paired board?

As played I think I'm folding.

If we check the turn and this passive player bets, she most likely flopped trips. If she checks behind I'm putting her on a draw and leading out on a blank river...

Re: AK sb 50nl

Villain is fairly aggressive pre-flop (admittedly over a small sample size). Without any further reads on her I suspect she would have raised on the button with hands that are currently beating you:...

Re: One of those banroll questions again........

What site are you playing on?

Generally the max buy-in for NL5 is $5, and NL10 is $10.

If your poker site is making you buy-in for $10 at NL5, then I would skip NL5 and move to NL10 (assuming...
