NL10: another blind v. blind hand

Villain's stats: 21.05/8.77/7.33/114. I'm not sure what the flop overbet means. Is folding the flop weak-tight, or wise considering that two large bets are likely to follow? K8 beats only a bluff,...

bet $1.5 on the turn, just because he called doesnt mean he has to have any piece of the flop. you can easily be getting floated, 78, qj, etc.

NL10: a blind v. blind hand

Villain's stats: 34.07/5.49/2.00/91.

On the turn, is the optimal play to:
1.) bet+call and re-evaluate on the river
2.) bet+3bet and shut down against a call or raise
3.) bet+fold
4.)...

Re: 50NL: OOP w a medium overpair

with TT+, I should re-raise, looking to get ai.
with 77-99, should I still re-raise, repping a bigger hand, then be prepared to fold to resistance? with smaller stack sizes, if re-raising...

50NL: OOP w a medium overpair

No stats/reads. Options:
1.) 3bet ; then the question is, what to do if 4bet? or even worse, what to do if called?
2.) call and evaluate turn ; then I suppose I would check+fold if a six or a...

50NL: ... standard?

Fold flop? Raise more on flop? Fold turn? Raise turn?

I'm not fond of folding to donk-bets.

50NL: button v BB : top pair on paired board

Don't know much about my opponent. Turn bet looked an awful lot like a blocking bet to me, indicating a weaker queen or a flushdraw. Am I better off flat calling for pot control?

River card is...

Re: 2/4 razz : bad hand, good odds

Why I capped 3rd:
I stated in the OP "No one in this pot had any idea how to play." Specifically, my notes for one player state:
"bad player
raised 97/A UTG
called 3rd st. raise w 3T/5
limps in...

2/4 razz : bad hand, good odds

No one in this pot had any idea how to play. Me being in this pot -- well, I only have some vague idea how to play. So I think I did alright up to 5th st., though I certainly welcome any comments....

Re: a razz odds question

[ QUOTE ]
Of course I factored them into the equation. If you have a 57% chance of drawing 2 3 4 5 6 7, then you have a 43% chance of catching all the other cards (A 8 9 T J K Q). I'm just...

Re: a razz odds question

I suppose part of the problem is that I'm not entirely sure what the odds need to be on 4th to continue if I catch a 9 or a T and my opponent catches a baby card. If you can enlighten me...

Re: a razz odds question

1.) Why didn't you count 9s and Ts as bad cards? On 4th st. if you have 26/A8 and your opponent shows xx/A9, you've technically outdrawn your opponent but he probably isn't going anywhere in the hand...

a razz odds question

I've read in more than one place that the odds of outdrawing a single opponent on 4th st. is 4-1 . Can someone show me the math? I can't seem to come up with that number. Also, if this number is...
