Re: Stars $400nl... turn this into a bluff?

Is it because you don't think we have any SD value here?

Re: Stars Bet Pot AHK ?

for some reason, the right mouse click doesn't seem to work on Stars cash game anymore (brings the bet amount to 0 on all streets now).

was anyone able to fix this problem?

Re: two pair river vs idiot

reads, stats?

turn is def a call here, and sometimes a fold I think. The turn raise is more of a bluff than for value or protection. You're raising two players oop w/mpgk...

Re: overpair on the river facing weird bet

you're usually beat here I think. 7 is def in his range, and even if its not, he's got you beat w/2pr here.

Re: 100nl KJs badly misplayed

pre-flop: fold against an unknown raising from UTG
flp: raise call a shove
turn: as played, I think you can just call here. You have a good draw, and your hand has SD vlaue. Are you calling a...

Re: AK 4-bet PF?

but aren't we losing more money by 4-bt shoving AK oop against many a villain's calling range? I dunno, in my experience I am constantly running into KK and AA when called pf after 4-bt shoving.

Re: This happens to me like once a session. Big leak? NL50

[ QUOTE ]
So I think it is reasonable to say we rarely have less than 40% equity here if those ranges are ok. So with FE and dead money, I can't imagine pushing is -EV. As for maximising EV, erm,...

Re: AK flops top pair 200bb deep

[ QUOTE ]
After we 3-bet the flop and get called 3-way, the last thing that happens on the turn is an induced bluff.

[/ QUOTE ]

We don't get called 3-way. We get called by villain who tanks...

Re: Nl50 - QQ getting raised

Let's assume we're new to the table and all players are unknown. What do you do here and how would the situation change if you hold 77-JJ or KK and AA?

Re: QQ .25/.50 Poorly played pf?

reads, stats? I think you played it fine.

FWIW I usually fold QQ to a 4-bt after I've 3-bt, and call a 3-bt once I've raised.

Re: This happens to me like once a session. Big leak? NL50

I don't think villain raises anything he's going to fold to a 3-bt here: 99-66,44-33,As2s,KsQs (38/62 villain) I just call here.

Re: AK flops top pair 200bb deep

[ QUOTE ]
I hate the flop 3B. We're 200bb deep and we have TPTK not a set. I feel this is just going to let him shove his big hands that have us crushed and get away from hands like KQ.

Re: AK flops top pair 200bb deep

I think b/folding is best here. By checking you may induce a bluff and fold the best hand, unless you plan to call. By betting you can get value from KxQs and protect against one card FD. We're...

Re: Flopped a full house...not excited

pre-flop: 4-bt call a shove w/KK (never fold KK pf)

As played, bet flop and hope he holds Ax. The ONLY hand that beats you right now is AK (AA also, but not likely).

Re: 100NL: KK....rivers an easy call...right?

*grunchin*

play is def passive on turn, also you can b/f if villain has a set, trips. At the same time, its the best way to make it look like youre on a draw and induce from middle pairs. ...
