Re: terrible push ? 6.50 starz

I'd say the call is ok. Loosing 100 won't make any difference at all, winning 800 will! The flop is a check-push/fold however. just calling is bad!

Re: I\'m unable to stop playing when winning

Keep playing as long as you are winning, you shoudn't keep playing if you get stuck in a negative tendancy for a few hundred hands though.

Re: $ 10 - TT on the bubble

1) Why are you betting 900 into a pot of 1275?

2) Why are you betting 1200 into a pot of 3075?, you have 1325 left after this bet which put you at 4:th place unless you win the pot!

Re: Poker office stats

[ QUOTE ]
No, lower buyin is the opposite. People play very poorly late when it matters and you have a much better chance of stacking people early when you do get a monster. Best strategy is tight....

Re: 4 tabling vs. 8-10 tabling

[ QUOTE ]
No. You play the situations. You probably play far fewer hands earlier than you would otherwise, but I think the value lost in doing this is quite minimal.

Re: 4 tabling vs. 8-10 tabling

My advice: DON'T CASCADE!!!

You want to tile the windows, a cascade will only make you missklick at a time where you can't aford to missklick!

Re: 5.5: Maniac goes all in at the beginning, call justified?

[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ]
You could argue that having a 40/60 early on is enough to justify a call in this case.

Re: OFFICIAL MOVING UP THREAD

At the low levels, yes you can dodge them. The higher the player's ROI the more inclined to avoid him you should be.

Re: [$55) JJ - Getting checkraised with an Overpair

You have 4 players at the flop, why don't you check/raise? You should have the best hand with this flop. I don't think a call is that good here, he will act before you on the turn and do you think he...

Re: 5.5: Maniac goes all in at the beginning, call justified?

You always call a maniac with this hand! Doubling up early in a SnG will often help you enough to compensate for the times you go bust.

You could argue that having a 40/60 early on is enough to...

Re: 16$. Bubble calling range here?

Lets look at the table, getting ~2000 chips (5BB/3M) will still have us at 3:rd place. Which will be the same as if we fold and BB get knocked out. I'd say we should play this hand really thight...
