My main problem with these is that they're run by a for profit company.

It's essentially free money for the police. The company owns, installs, maintains the cameras. They handle the ticketing...

Judging by the pics I've seen, it doesn't look like the train was moving. No derailment or pile up or anything. Just a few crushed cars.
