Re: Royal Flush

I've had 2 in 150k hands, both within the same month.
The first one I backdoored, the 2nd one I flopped.
30bb pot on the first one, 5bb on the 2nd.

Re: Most tilting hand ever

I did the same thing with K high once, thinking I had the nut straight.
Only difference is that it was at 0.1/0.2 LHE, but losing that 1.5 bucks really sucked.

Re: Beat: I\'m an uninteresting Fgators

1mill hands at nl25? Wow.

I reckon you're a heavy multitabler. Thats not a very good way to improve your game in my opinion. If you're playing stricktly for money, then playing 12 tables might be...

Re: [NL50 SH] Pussy on the river?

This decision is very read dependant, but unless the SB is very passive I think putting him all-in for his last 12 is an excelent play.

If he had you beat on the turn he would have check-raised...

Re: 50NL - Top2 with AK, nasty board and a push

I'd fold here for sure. I dont think his line looks too suspect. Most of the time he'll have AJ,KJ,QJ,JJ. If he is the kind of player who makes these kind of crazy bluffs with air I can find a better...

Re: tp on wet board

Consider re-raising pre-flop.
As played I'd probably fold the flop. Either fold or raise. I really hate calling to draw when I might be drawing dead.

On the turn I'd most likely fold even though...

Re: NL 50 1010 flop nuts multiway now what?

You have to slowplay here, even against 4 opponents, because you've crippled the deck.
I'd check-call flop and turn most of the time to let them see all the cards. It sucks that you are SB. Try to...

Re: 50NL 6max - decision on river after making two pair on turn

Yes, fold pre-flop. A8s doesnt do well in raised pots (unless you raised with it from late pos).
Raise turn and get action from AK/AQ or whatever ace he has.

As played I'd call river. Its hard to...

Here's your problem. The "should".

Re: I played too timid, didnt I?

The turn looks like a blocking bet. Im would raise there against most opponents. Few would play a queen or 109 like that, at least where I play (stars nl50).

As played I might be calling the...

Re: NL50: Calling range vs unknown who pushes first hand

Here's what happened:
I had JJ and folded. I have seen some 10-20 stacks sit down and do this with any two, but cant remember any 30+ do it. Thats what made the difference. I would have called...

Re: raising from sb in sb vs bb war?

I play NL50 and against an unknown player I play 70 % of the hands. My raising range from SB = any pair, any ace, any 2 cards 10+, any suited king, k6o+, 67s+. Thats about 35 % of the hands. The...

Re: Slowplaying is rarely correct...

A 50 hand sample isnt very big, but if you're pretty sure already that villian is laggy and fully capable of making big bluffs, then those are the kind of players its good to slowplay against.
I...
