I call this the puke call play... or is it call then puke?

[/ QUOTE ]

if you puke first you might time out. so call then puke may be best

You are not freerolling, DUCY?

Surely we're ahead or freerolling? What am I missing?

Re: AK, line on turn and river

Some stats or reads would be pretty helpful but if you check behind the turn I think you're committing to calling a reasonable bet on the river unless you know he's a nit.

Re: A6s flops pair, turns 2

Your weak flop bet will get called pretty wide and that's a lot of aces, most of which you have crushed. I'd happily call the min raise then call whatever he wants to give me on the river.

Re: 25NL JJ 4betted

I'd fold this preflop. You've defined your hand to be premium and he's 4bet you OOP anyway (but not shoved) so I think you're looking at a range that crushes you.

Re: NL10: Was I insane to shove here?

I definitely don't hate calling preflop. KQs will play well heads up or multiway and you have position. If you're going to call off a pot sized bet on every street when you flop Kxy then sure it...

Re: 10NL AA readless facing turn donk

This looks like a fair lame attempt at pot control to me. If he shows up with QT so be it but I'm definitely raising this turn and happily committing.

Also, with this uber wet flop 2 big cards +...

His AF was 4.0.

[/ QUOTE ]

His aggression frequency for the 3 streets is probably more interesting at this point than his AF. His AF after < 50 hands isn't that helpful but his...

Re: NL25, flush, standard call on the river?

What are everyone's views on cbetting this flop? I definitely don't think I'm doing it every time. There's a two people who both have pocket pairs as a big chunk of their range. The chance of...

Re: 10NL AK

I don't think you can really be scarred of his lead at this point. After the preflop action you have an SPR of 2.6 which pretty much means you have to commit when you flop TPTK or better. Afterall,...

[ QUOTE ]

It's definitely WA/WB so raising doesn't achieve much.

[/ QUOTE ]

Since the pot was 3bet and his flop bet is pretty large, calling here is going to be suggestive of a...

Re: NL25 AK on paired flop

Do you have any stats/reads/info on villain? They sure would help about now.

As a default play I'm definitely flat calling this flop. We're killing just about everything he can hold unless he's...

Re: NL25 AA

I hardly ever slow play stuff at the micros but the board is ridiculously dry and you have it killed. I'd check behind and look to get the rest in over the turn and river with a curious opponent who...

Re: NL25 AK

I think this is fine against this guy. I'm definitely making a half pot value bet on the river. His range is wide, he's passive and likely to call it a lot. Plus the chance of his check raising us...

Re: QQ overpair on paired board, push on turn.

I think this is played fine up until the flop raise which is very small. When he calls your PFRR OOP I think we rule out AA/KK most if not all of the time so about the only thing we are scared of on...

Re: $50NL Raising OCs and calling their shove for the pots odds

OK. Even munging the hands to an extreme lots of draws + sets type range it's -EV. Are we really just folding to the donk bet? What range do you have for him when he leads out?

TAG has pair+fd; gutshot+FD; a set, or a pair way more often than he does the NFD.

Try to avoid putting all your money in the pot when your hand is crushed by your opponents range.

do you not see the odds? you're crushed when he shows up with a pair OR BETTER, which is at least as likely as a draw
