How many hands have you played before making these conclusive statements about your WR in the different types of ganmes you've played in?

Good question, next question!

My small stakes career can be spilt up into two parts.

Considering this I would play NL25 instead of LHE 6max 0.5/1 anyday as it is simply so much easier to extract money from.

Re: What is the real benefit of 6max Limit Hold\'em?

One thing I forgot is the huge difference in the resulting rake. In case of full ring Limit games, the rake is quite acceptable at all major online Casinos but if I play 6max Limit, most of my income...

What is the real benefit of 6max Limit Hold\'em?

This question might sound ridiculous to most of you but it's the essential question that I'm asking myself at the moment. I'm playing Hold'em now since about two years. I started playing full ring...

Re: 6max Limit + very loose/passive opponents = big problem

[ QUOTE ]

There's your mistake. You really can't compare NLHE WR to LHE WR. I think the guys in NL are talking about a good WR being 5-10 PTBB/100 (1 PTBB = 2 big blinds), I think a very good LHE...

Re: 6max Limit + very loose/passive opponents = big problem

First of all, thank you very much for your help. Maybe I should really consider correct position at the table relative to such opponents. And the hint, to check out the minimal holdings that such...

6max Limit + very loose/passive opponents = big problem

I'm playing now since a while 6max Limit and my average win rate is between 1.5 and 2BB/100, what I don't consider satisfying. My biggest problem at the moment is a special kind of very loose passive...

Odds & Outs vs. Hand to Range Equity (or how to evaluate a Holding?)

In a full ring limit game I often use the odds & outs approach to evaluate a draw, as it is teached in many poker books. In a short handed game the situation is quite different and often you have...

Re: Question about W$WSF for 6max

Re: Is playing ABC poker at 6max microlimit games reasonable?
