Re: check behind or fire

I actually don't like PF. Fold>Raise>Call.

As played, pretty easy bet/fold in a limped pot.

on a related note....

Re: standard 4 bet AI with AK here?

What's the buyin here?

First, I would never flat call the r/r here. It's too much in relation to your stack and you'll likely face a flop bet with a hand that needs help to win.

Agree that...

Re: FD in Big Pots

Given reads I'd rather shove PF in hand 1 then call. I'm uncomfortable putting this much in PF with a hand that needs to improve to win.

Any decent sized bet in hand 2 commits you and I agree this...

Re: Tried to steal...flopped a monster...screwed it up?

PF steal is fine, but I'd feel more comfortable making it 5k to go.

My initial thought was wtf just bet the flop but now I'm not so sure. Assuming this guy is somewhat of a loose/passive (which...

Re: Possible dilemma in the late stages

There hasn't been a lot of discussion to stack sizes behind you but this is my biggest reason for shoving with a low M. Guys w/ big stacks can call in pos and play close to perfect against you, esp...

I insta called FWIW but in retrospect I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything. Going back through the HH to see just how many times I'd been raising it up makes this a trivial call imo....

$30 - AQs from the button vs. BB shove

BB is rather donkish, limps a lot, raises infrequently, overbets a lot post flop. I have been aggro, raising 5/7 hands (only once on button steal attempt in which SB called but same BB folded),...

Re: Did I just price myself in ?

Ugh, I just realized there is a typo in my original post. Should have read he shoved for T1500 total, 1100 for me to call.

Sorry, I'm a [censored] retard.

Re: 55ra riv bet/call

Couple of questions:

1) Why no turn lead?

2) Why is your river bet so big?

yes call as played but why open so much? just open to 250...if a short stack pushes call...if a bigger stack reraises or pushes it's easier to fold

Some live e-table hands

Typical loose/passive live $300 max 1/2 game on the e-tables. My image is weak/tight in both hands as I've had to fold to a r/r twice PF. Once I had QQ, another AJo, both have been to the same dude....
