Why not bet turn and river?

I don't know what kind of goofball this player is but I can't see him checking an Ace on the turn. Also if he had A+j,q,k he probably would have capped with position. I...

Since you went through the turn, C/C river. Your opponents hand could range from 66 to 99 but a weak ace/suited is possibility.

He raised on the flop to see where you are at. I really can't see...

Although I would hate to fold, I would c/c river. I think he was most likely raising the flop with (1) K or Q of spades. (JQ, KJ?)
