Re: AJ valuetown river?
I completely agree with Jim's logic here. This is articulated alot better than what I was attempting to say above. You need to either raise the flop, or raise the turn after the check. If we don't...

Re: Very quick preflop question - I think
I think that it is an easy fold. You raised early with a mediocre hand...somebody squeezed you...get away from it. Pushing your stack to get CO off the hand only allows him to call with a monster,...

Re: AJ valuetown river?
I didn't say to re-raise the river...but AJ is a very vunerable hand in this situation. Why not take the pot down on the flop if we think that we are ahead (which we seem to believe)? We are only...

Re: AJ valuetown river?
Why would you only smooth call that flop. Unless you have a read that he never c-bets without at least top pair. There is a rainbow board. I would raise to 60ish on the flop, and I think you take...

Re: 4th nuts facing river push
I really think that check is the play, and agree with you. Don't have to give up, and for only a slight amount (much less than this call we are now faced with) we can call for a marginal...

Re: big hand trying for a really big pot
I really think that he has overs in this situation. JJ, 1010, that he will not be able to stop betting at.
I make one of two plays.
1: I DONK right back at him and go all-in on this turn,...

Re: NL400 - fun with JJ
I wouldn't make the call on the river unless I had a read on this guy.
The fact that he slowed down on the turn, gets to me.
I would probably lead on that flop with my JJ, acting as if my AQ...

Re: hmmm, what to do?
I only bet $150-$200 into that pot. Any reads on this guys push? If you think he is loose agressive, then instacall. If he is a tight guy, fold. No read, I fold 50% call 50% based on how much...

You have J high, you are behind.

Yes, but you rep that 9, and if your flush hits it is disguised. He might...

Re: 4th nuts facing river push
I bet that turn to see where I am, might get a repush. I think it could be poorly played trips, rivered two pair, or any flush. You will get your money in a better spot though if you give up this...

Re: 230 BB Deep, QQ vs fslexcduck
This seems to be a very read dependant hand.
If I get the jist of the way this player makes move, I might have considered a Re-ReRaise preflop to find where I am with my Queens and to represent KK...

Re: why am i so easily confused
Does this player really need anything to be making this move. I don't think so. He might be on a flush draw, and he might have Kx, Axc, or AQ with an ace of clubs...if he is a loose donkish player....

Re: AJ river play
There are a ton of hands we have beat. QQ, KK, AA reraise preflop almost for certain. I think he bets on the flush draw. He might have called with a hand like AKh or A9h and semi bluffed the turn...

Re: 1.5/3 DEEP with trips no kicker 3 handed
I think what he is saying is that any fives that might possibly call being pretty crazy...i.e. suited connectors 65 or 54. But we could be up against a crazy A5 sooted call though, or even crazier a...

The only hands I am more than a coin flip to are qq, 66, 22 and A or Ks with an 8. Interesting. Just calculated any possible hand.

Re: Typical spot with QQ in 3bet pot
First, I re-reraise prob 40% of the time with QQ in this spot, pre-flop.
But when i smooth call like this, I lead out 50% and check 50%.
If I check, I am looking for a read on the guy (you...

Re: interesting 2-5 hand @ the trop
You are getting too greetty on this flop. You can already take down a MASSIVE pot pre-flop by pushing. If you simply call, you risk loosing a massive pot to something stupid.

Re: 3 barrels 600NL
You shot twice...save your money. I like a c/r on that flop though. He probably has a PP or hit the 4. If you c/r and he pushes back, you get out for the min loss. Most likely he is going to fold...

Re: I get Pedigreed
I think that you need to bet that flop, and lead action. I had him on a Monster (like I said AA, JJ, or AJ) on that flop because of the way he checke behind. A weak ace is going to bet to take down...

Re: Weak hand played correct??
Ok,
I see where you are heading. I guess I am talking about my pre-flop agression more than other aggression. I like to make moves with good draws (this is an obvious show in this hand). I am...
