Please dont get stuck on semantics on what classifies as trading and what doesn't. Lets just say I am interested in alternatives to the valueplays that makes up most of my portfolio.

Depends of your definition of long term profits. Buying where RSI crosses the stochastic MA(12) bollinger bands will probably be a coinflip. However banks do have arbitrage departents that obviously...
