Re: from $10 to $1 million in one day

I don't think it would be very hard to keep getting action since you would be making a lot of really stupid-looking plays. You might call three barrels with bottom pair, etc or call a shove with J...

Re: satellite broadband or alternatives

I used broadband satellite (Hughesnet specifically) for most of this year for poker. More important than the download/upload speed is the "lag" built in to every communication. This results in...

Re: Elky\'s range?

How much can Elky possibly adjust to in-game dynamics? As noted above, he is usually playing a minimum of 10 tables, with UP TO EIGHT of them being HU matches. And he goes on like that for hours. ...

Saturday morning--Heads-up menu at PS is messed up? (NLTRN)

I just logged on (1:15 EST on Saturday) and the menu of heads-up games is severely limited. Looks like a software glitch... anyone else having this problem?

For example, there are no 100 or 110...

Re: Semi-Interesting Match History

Ok... hand 3: You have AA, get another A on the flop, don't be the turn, then fold the river to a pot-sized bet when you are ahead of every hand except 45 or QT. Am I misreading this? WTF?

I...

Re: No content: How many tables can you guys manage at once?

1-2 is optimal for me. I can manage 3 or 4 without spewing, but my games slow down and my ROI suffers.

Elky playing 7 simultaneous 2k HU turbos

He has been cranking on 5-7 HU tables at a time for at least an hour now. Oh, he's also doing 3-4 other SNGs/cash tables as an extra bonus. I just find this interesting/astounding. That is all.

Re: How helpful are the CR-Videos??

I have watched all the HUSNG videos and did not find them particularly helpful. I was hoping to pick up a move or two but the authors did not really seem like expert HUSNG players over the few games...

Re: prop bet: 20k hands within a 24h timespan?

Don't take too much action on this or you might discover a few particularly contemplative players at your tables...

Re: Win percentages Turbo\'s vs Regulars?

I don't keep track of my durations in any rigorous way. Anecdotally, I seem to play longer matches than most in this forum. My typical length is probably about 22 mins for the regs and 16 mins for...

Re: Win percentages Turbo\'s vs Regulars?

Here are my numbers (combining data from PS and FT). My average stake is a little above $100 for both sets:

Normal (855 games): 10% ROI
Turbo (624 games): 6% ROI

In general, I don't have much...

Re: QQ 1st hand: all-in after Limp-Reraise?

I agree with Nicho 100% on the QQ decision.

To continue with Rob's line of thought, what do we think about raising to 666 with any two cards pre-flop? We force our opponent to lay down down the...

Re: Maths and Winrate help required

If he's playing two games instead of three, he needs to make 50% more per money game at the $110s, so it should be:

220X -115 = (5.2*1.5)
X=55.8%

Re: TOUGH SPOT $50 HUNL SNG

95+% chance OP is screwing with us. Recent history shows a lack of sincerity and high BS value. This sentence seals it for me: "If you can't fold here you will never be a specatcular heads up...
