Re: 200NL: Bottom two pair from BB

Thank you CDL, excellent logic. Your reasoning leads me to hate bet-fold and bet-call too.

In the actual hand I check-folded (!) to a bet of $44 from him - horribly weak-tight and I really hated...

Re: 200NL: Bottom two pair from BB

And what makes my post special compared to the other 4 posts you've replied to this week with 200NL or 400NL in the title where you didn't feel compelled to lol? /images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Re: 200NL: Bottom two pair from BB

I agree with CDL that getting it AI on this turn probably means I'm behind, and the majority's line of bet-fold turn sounds good to me.

If a flop bet gets flat-called though, do we think most of...

200NL: Bottom two pair from BB

This is UTG+1's first orbit and I've been too involved with another table so don't have any reads on him.

I feel a little lost on the turn after he cold calls the flop and think I need a plan for...

200NL: 5-flush AKJT9 on board... interesting decisions!

I was in this hand, but it's irrelevant which player I am; I'm intrigued by what to do in each position (not to mention being amazed at how the hand played out)!

Table was playing fairly...

Re: $22 satellite: 22 UTG+1, 6 remain, 3 paid

I hadn't thought about the specific benefits to me of UTG sitting out - thanks for pointing that out Cornell / Adanthar. Also the 'I'm not pushing ATC here so why push 22?' argument is an excellent...

Re: NL100 flopped idiot end of straight OOP gets loose action

Thank you everyone. I didn't take enough notice of stack sizes and folded. Too many people been min-raising me with the nuts at this level /images/graemlins/frown.gif

$100NL: AK in SB facing reraise AI and weird stack sizes

UTG+1 with the massive stack is 25/13 over 50 hands.
CO is a 11/5 over 150 hands.
No reads, and no idea how UTG+1 got the stack because since I sat down he's a net loser.

If CO's range is...

Re: $69: JJ facing BSB resteal

Tackle, I agree with your range for SB's resteal, but surely Button isn't calling our 4-bet that light, even though he is getting 2.5:1?

Mind you, having played with the numbers there are no...

$69: JJ facing BSB resteal

There are about 40 players remaining, 27 get paid. I'm about 30th at the moment.

Button is 27/12, SB is 18/10, both over about 120 hands.

Both have been stealing with reasonable frequency but...

$35 satellite: nut straight gets action on monotone flop

Re: 100NL rags flop bottom two pair

(Error: sorry, the blinds were $0.50/$1)

Limp preflop was to try and hit a drawing hand, rather than raise and then bluff flop. Just a matter of personal style surely?

Re: 100NL flopped bottom two

I agree the 10 isn't a scare card but I've shown a lot of strength and no draw got there, so apart from KQ-KJ what hand that I beat am I going to get value from?

100NL flopped bottom two

Re: $22: UTG with K4 and blinds increasing

Thanks.
