Re: 50 NL 6m - in position vs. loose villian

[ QUOTE ]
Lead for 2/3 to 3/4. Shutdown if he doesn't fold to that.

[/ QUOTE ]

Any other card and I would be inclined to agree, but I think that A is far too likely to have hit him there,...

Re: 50 NL 6m: TPTK OOP vs unknown

Tough one, I don't see what calls pre-flop that you arent way ahead of. On the flop you are behind only KK, 33, 22, K3, K2 and 32 all of which are unlikely imo. I might just push flop here and expect...

Re: Shall i be folding river here?

Hand 1: Fine, except I may bet turn ($4-$5) and fold to a raise
Hand 2: Fold Pre flop (but marginal really), rest fine
Hand 3: Fine

Re: 50NL QJ

As played fold, best case is this is a big draw something like AhJh, but it could easily be JT, KQ, 99 etc.

For what it's worth I'm checking that flop, we have a marginal hand, we're not folding...

Re: NL5: trips vs. a suspected fish

I'm not so sure here, it looks alot like BB is looking for a cheap showdown, i doubt he would bet $0.25 into a $2.5 pot with a K. It looks to me like a flush draw on the flop that caught an A on the...

Re: Weak from beginning to end ?

I don't mind just calling the turn but i probably fold river, if closing betting i may look him up but as played i don't think we beat 2 other hands on that board.

Re: How would you play this in the BB?

[ QUOTE ]
I bet pot because of flush draws and potential higher str8s and we need to start building a pot as it is unraised.

Re: ATs $50 strong draws

I think I would fold in this spot.

My maths aint great but i reckon you have odds of hitting of about 4:1 and you are being offered immediate odds of about 2:1 (with implied at 3:1). This may also...

Re: NL 10: Queens - what does this raise mean ?

I'm not getting away from this, if he has 45 or 66 then great for him, but those aren't the only hands that raise you on the flop and we are way ahead of most of them

Re: Set of 888\'s vs. Possible straight

Easy call, he may have straight a lot but even if he does you have outs and if you hit you may just stack him.

Re: AJ offsuit- did I handle it well?

Fold to the flop min-raise, easy fold on turn, there's a good chance you are drawing dead here.

Re: $0.05 NL - Survey on your earnings

how many hours in total so far?

I think $800 is extremely optimistic, assuming a win rate of say 8 BB/100 hands (which is reasonable IMO) makes about $0.40 an hour, so you would need to play about...

Re: 50NL 6m: enormous pot with TP2K

I would raise this to $15.

That should hopefully land us heads up with CO who would then be all in, there's a good chance he is flushing or has a worse K here.

Re: NEED POST FLOP ADVICE

[ QUOTE ]
But how do I call or reraise someone wtih nothing?

[/ QUOTE ]

Don't.

Look to make a good hand post-flop, raising people with nothing at this level is suicide.
