Re: Nut straight meets crappy river ($10nl)
I like the raise pre. I do it myself but you've got to be careful post flop with these sort of hands OOP. I don't like open limping hardly ever.

Re: NL10 67o Monster Flop with the Dreaded Turn
It depends on the table but I certainly don't mind completing with two limpers here.
Flop is fine.
Turn I would check, I don't think most passive opponents are betting without a heart. If he...

Nice idea for a thread checkmate.
I joined up on Party about a year ago with a bankroll of $100 and started playing 25NL (another one with no idea of bankroll issues) I played weak tight and was...

Re: NL10 I Tried Something
I think it's possible to make moves at 10NL, but I think you have to pick your spots very carefully, and I don't think this is a great spot.
Pre flop I would fold (most of the time) or raise. I...

10NL JJ OOP against tight pf raiser
Villan was 17/6/1.8 over 400 hands
Using pokey's guide 6% PFR is about 77+ AQ+, maybe I should have repoped it pre but I didn't feel like I was crushing this range.
Once he bets the flop into 3...

Yeah I suppose I'm only ahead of a trickily played QQ or TT.
I would usually fold to the flop raise but thought it was fishy from a good player. I was uneasy because I don't lke the way he played...

Re: 10NL KK with ugly board
I think we have to bet this flop; it's likely that we're still ahead and we have to charge the draws IMO.
What's my plan if I check? C/C and then fold a dangerous turn? There's a lot of cards I...

10NL KK with ugly board
Is this a standard fold or a bit weak? With that turn card about every draw has hit and I still have MP3 to act behind me.
I suppose I should have potted it on the flop...

Re: 25NL Weird hand comments please
Yeah you don't count your bet in the pot as odds are a ratio.
I personally think this is a fold even if CO called although then I admit it is close.

Re: PL25 - Nut flush draw hits top pair
I don't like the preflop call I'll usually throw this away.
I would raise the flop to about $3, I don't think the call is bad though especially if you think SB or UTG+1 may call.
As played fold...

I can't really comment as the converters not showing the flop action, but it looks as if you slowplayed your set. This is almost always the wrong thing to do.

Re: Think I\'m being bluffed here
If your going to bet pre flop (which I think is fine) make it a bit more x4 BB plus one per limper is the standard ie. $0.25.
Bet the flop.
Bet more on the turn I don't like bets of less than...

Re: 10NL: Flopped Quads, one in hand: What do you do?
I also think the c/r is bad here.
I would probably just lead out and hope to get action off any PP, but if I thought that CO would bet ATC then I think c/c is fine. Then lead the turn hoping he...

Re: Set extraction against passive
I often lead this flop against a passive player, but if I decide to check i would c/r to about $5.
As played I think your bet sizes on the turn and river are a little small.

Re: $10 NL: Bottom 2 pair on high board facing a raise
I don't think preflop is terrible I wouldn't play it most of the time but if you do play it I like the raise.
I would be tempted to 3 bet the flop, depending on the villan.
As played I think...

Re: KQ makes trips on drawish board (50 6m)
I don't like a checkraise, you've said that it's drawish and if it's checked behind and a heart comes on the river it could be ugly. Just bet out about 8ish.

Re: NL50: Can I sell this as a flush?
I don't like this, I think it may be OK if villian didn't raise pf but as played once he calls your CB I think he has a spade.
A tight villan may fold 66, 77, 88, 9/images/graemlins/spade.gif9,...
