The EV for checking the flush on the turn was actually -EV. For one you have to understand that EV is expected value. Your expected value of your hand was high then, you had the nut hand at the time...

It's not a suckout. A good suckout would be AK vs A3...flop comes Axx and you both push. Then on the turn out comes a 3 and river is a 3.
