Re: $25 NL, Few New Diff Decisions

[ QUOTE ]
Also what do you guys feel about raising in the small blind with a weak ace against a button limp. Is it profitable?

[/ QUOTE ]
This depends a lot on the buttons tendencies. If you...

Re: $25 NL, Few New Diff Decisions

How is your image and your stats?
Hand 1: raise it to 1 PF, and then put in a 1.25-1.50 cbet. He checks behind on the turn, I put him on PP 33-55, or a slowplayed SC with a 6. You can't call the...

Re: NL25 QQ ez shove on turn? Hard call on river?

What are villains stats?
dude RAISE, at least somewhere. raise that flop. Raise that turn. meh, river sucks, pretty odds though. players who always raise and put pressure, are so much harder to...

Re: NL10 6m: TPTK in position with scare card on the turn

If you check, he will fire on the river. Bet, and call a raise. At this level, three-flush boards gets bluffed a lot. oop I also bet. IMO you are ahead still

Re: Full-tilt, nut-flush draw vs several opps

I fold this preflop. His range after two limpers is pretty narrow IMO. You are most likely dominated here. I c/f tourn if sb checks. Button might not have a huge hand, but sb certainly does

Re: How far was I behind here?

Raise to 6-7 BB's PF. Raise flop to see where you are. A reraise then would indicate TT or some sort of 6, or maybe AT. Villains lead a lot with TP at this level. As played, call turn and get a cheap...

Re: difference between NL25 and NL50 ?

NL50 is a little tougher than NL25 IMO, but not much. If you beat nl25 consitently, you will beat nl50 as well

Re: Big pot w/AA.

are you lag or tag? that reraise basically says you don't have a J. If someone calls that flop bet, you go broke most of the time. I would raise it to 10 or so pf

Any chance you have any reads on villain. W/O reads Im prol folding here. I dont like calling either because you allow yourself to be bluffed off the hand on the flop. The 4th raise is...

Re: Playing QQ too fast PF.

Call and evaluate on the flop. Try to get to showdown cheap. Just one reraise might mean JJ as well as AK AA and KK. You want the lower pairs to stay in. Seeing the flop also gives you a chance to...

NL25, suited connectors from CO

I got sucked out on the previous hand, thats why I'm short. Anyway, button plays 29/2, so he calls a lot of raises with weak suited aces, kings and whatnot, disregarding position. The early poster...

Re: (NL50) - AK hits TPTK vs LAG

I say trips, but you can't get away from this can you? Flushdraw unlikely, and the made straight also unlikely imo

Re: NL50: Is this what you kids refer to as \"pot control\"?

1) no
2) I think its fine, I smell a made draw, and if another club falls, you've got yourself some nuts
3) no. NEVER minraise. calling is fine here IMO

Re: $4.40 180 PS - AK How about the bets on turn and river?

this is fine IMO. You're not facing any reraises, so you just valuebet this. People splash around a lot in the first level of the 4/180's, so expect to see a lot of crap. I go broke in this hand

NL25 JJ facing minraise PF and raggy flop

I hate JJ, and this one is vs a donk. 65/12 or something. Even though he is a laggy donkface, donks minraise nuts ftw. raggy flop doesn't help me. Hows the flop call, and what should my line be...

Re: 6-max 10NL Pokerstars - My continuation bets face aggression

You have to get a read on your table/opponents. If an opponent plays 90%, just push on his minraise, and fold vs a tight player. If you see a player cbetting every time, play back at him on occasion....

NL25$ Overpair with a caller

My image is fairly tight, as my VP$IP is around 22-23 somewhere. Villain is tight also, showing down only good hands.
