Re: fold QQ pre?
Looks like AK trying to squeeze, why would AA or KK try to blast everyone out of the pot? I call and expect to see AK majority of the time with $58 in the pot I think it's + EV

Re: AQ facing RR
I fold, AQ is a terrible hand to play guessing games with, and hero totally whiffed on the flop. Let it go.

Re: Soft 5/10nl games in Vegas?
IMO the location of Caesar's blows the Wynn out of the water. I've played (and stayed at Caesar's) but never have played the 5/10 limit. I've been in the Wynn and I'm sure the rooms are nice but I...

Re: Put poker on resume?
I would stongly advise against this. Remember many people in this world, especially those that do hiring, do not understand how poker is different from any other gambling game. They will likely...

Re: KK live automatic call, or is it?
Thats what I was thinking, its good maybe %50 of the time so still +EV. Sterotyping may have a negative connotation but its funny how often our initial reads on people are correct. For instance,...

Re: flop raise my cbets
The pre flop raise in position is fine. I think this is either a reraise or a fold situation on the flop. Why not reraise to tell him you're not joking? If he comes over the top again he has it. ...

Re: b&m KQs vs Super-Villian
Usually I just muck against ludicris overbets designed to pick up small pots unless I have a hand that I want to trap with and high confidence villian has nada. As played your read was correct, and...

Re: Las Vegas (poker) Virgin TR
Congrats on a successful first trip. The first time I went to Vegas (just last year) it was amazing to me how bad the play actually was. The 2-4 tables are insane, I think its largely people like...

Re: Should I get insurance here?
The only reason to ever take insurance is if you are counting cards and the shoe has a high + running count, otherwise never take it. There is a reason its offered at every black jack table and its...

Temptation can be a bitch. Look at it this way, he got away with it but felt so guilty about it he returned $7 months later. I wouldn't have a problem with it, we all make mistakes now and again,...

Re: Laying down Trips for one more bet
Regardless of your read on UTG you have to call here getting 12:1. If you really have a gut feeling that you are beat, then just call instead of raising but you absolutely must call with this hand.

God god man, whats with all the cold calling? BB and CO were interested in getting their money in pre-flop so they likely have premos, I definitely raise that flop to try and force out the marginal...

Re: AA Big Reraise (NL50 FR)
A wild player is likely to make this play with a hand like one pair with the As. I'd call the turn, and since he's almost out of money c/c anything but a spade river. No way I'm dumping AA because...

Most of the low limit tables in Vegas are just like this, You have to raise AA KK in any position pre-flop, you will be going into the hand as the favorite no matter how many you are playing against....

88? maybe, but if all we're really looking for are sets and maybe A5s, i think this should be reraised... i think you're good often enough for that reraise to show profit.

Re: Lol I can\'t get away from QQ, should I?
It seems like the BB has a hand like AK and just wants to muscle everyone else out. If he has AA or KK why not make a reasonable raise instead of making an obvious attempt to pick up a paltry $6? ...
