Re: A23x Tough Turn Decision

Yeah i didnt think of it like that, a tighty is more likely to raise up initially with AAxx than just call a raise.

I think was having a really cold run of cards and was just trying to make myself...

Hey peeps,

Villan here was a reasonably tight player VPIP% 19 PRF - 6 Over 500 hands or so but ive noticed, tends to be aggressive on the hands he does play.

Re: Best Hi Hand on Flop - Home game

Ask yourself, how am i going to scoop with this hand? How do my cards work together? your low is terrible and your pair is not going to be highest set unless there is a low on board, and your then...

Re: PLO/8 AA2x From the blinds

Thanks for the responses - I raised because (at the time it seemed a good idea) to disguise my hand a bit. I thought a big raise OOP was a bit of a giveaway, but maybe im better just value betting...

PLO/8 AA2x From the blinds

Villan here was a fairly loose player, noticed he plays to non nut draws and is aggressive flopping a nut low draw and a pair. Should i have raised preflop here? Was i ok calling the flop re-raise?

Re: (16$) ITM hand

why did you wait to the turn to bet your medium pair? the buttons either been trapping with a high pair or hit trips/high card/straight. You gotta put 1500 almost to win a pot of 3k. Thats 2/1 odds,...

Re: $33s QQ, wat do i do, ok??

Id have raised to 500 or so on the flop. Hes indicating weakness by the bet. Show contempt for that poor raise and show him you mean business. Your call screams "im scared of the A cause i have a PP"...

Re: 22- AQ

A bet more like 300 as meleader says is a better size bet. It does the job of seeing if they are serious about the hand. If he calls you or raises your not putting any more chips into the pot. He...

Re: Party $109, 4 handed Bubble, 92o on button

i must admit i dont play the 109's but i think i might start if the big stack puts all their chips in the pot on the bubble with a 9,2o. I mean being aggressive is one thing but your only marginally...

Re: PS 5.50, Shortstack HU

The Minimum Edge means how much your skill will affect the hands you play. Early on in the tourney you can pick and choose your spots to raise and go all in so your Edge is high.

When you get to...

Re: PS $5.50 - AQs with raise in front

Id play the same. Depends on my reads of my opponents though, are they tight and will fold to a bet? If so the flop is pretty safe for a continuation bet, i cant see either of them holding a 7 unless...

Re: ($11/$22S) Leaky PF calls?

1 Great
2 Bad position, someone showed strength UTG and raised that indicates a medium/high pair or 2 high cards Ax or Kx at a push if hes loose (unless you have a read on him that says hes raising...

Re: 5 $ tournament heads up

With that im looking at putting about a pot size bet. Heads up a T high flush is a great hand, expecially with all the other high cards out there he could have caught a peice of. If he calls you...

Re: Heads Up with big stack difference question

The more chips you have the more you have to be willing to call any all ins from the villan, no matter what cards you have in a lot of cases. The same goes when you have the short stack. Your options...

Re: AQ min-raised on the bubble

Its always a difficult one playing around the bubble with a good hand. Expecially when there are other guys around the same stack size, on one hand you want to be aggressive and double up but on the...
