Re: flop looks good?

Yes you are driving out the blinds too. In lp with this mid pocket you want to get this heads up with the early limper. You gain more equity from the dead money in the pot that you creat from the...

Re: I flop a set on an ugly board and it goes bad from there....

A check is horrible here. I dont like giving free cards on draw heavy boards like this. The only hand I am worried about here is KQ(suited or not). I bet out strong here. If im lucky he has a big...

Re: NL25 -- TT -- HighStakes bluffs at Micro Level -- too advanced?

You said you bet the turn bet with the hopes of AK folding and folding when he pushes all in. You missed one key thought. What about when he cold calls as he did. You have to know what you plan to...

Re: JJ raise on button. Low flop gets aggressive??

Yeah I know that the play was pretty bad on the reraise. I should have raised more after he checkraised me. Given the play, should the all in bet get called or is this an easy laydown?

JJ raise on button. Low flop gets aggressive??

Hopefully this post will spark some good debate and feedback. The villain has been playing about 50% of his hands. He limps most of them and raises here and there. Hasnt shown down a huge number...

Re: Standard play with flopped set on monotone board, right?

Easy push. You cant call and allow and risk someone calling with a ten of hearts or the like. You min raise you are pot committed. If he calls and has a flush you are a 2:1 dog. You will bet...

Re: 25 NL - 88 on turn, check or bet?

Any reads on him? Does he routinely bet the pot. Does he seem to attack on river given weak action on turn?

Re: 25NL - folding TPTK to flop aggression?

Maybe im missreading this hand. villian was 52/24/2
I am reading this as he is playin about 52% of his hands. Raising 24% of them and his overall aggression factor is 2. Not exactly sure what...

Re: 25NL - folding TPTK to flop aggression?

Well if you are really prepared to put your money all in with such a weak hand why wait till the turn. I love calling a lil off with small pocket pairs and then hitting a set and finding a player...

Re: 25 nl- top two facing river AI

Where are the stack sizes? Why the check on the turn with the blank? If you were trying to get a bluff out of him on river then that great but why try to push him out with a raise to $15. What...

Re: standard TPTK minraised on flop

Wow so something like AJ for a weak ace or 88 for the stonecold nuts. Nothing else? Are you kidding me. What about a suited connector like 78s or 89s. Maybe something like A8s. I know hes a...
