responding to getting pushed around
General question, just happened to me and I probably didn't respond well. It's an $11 3-tabler, and everyone but the chip leader is 10XBB or less. Well, starting at the bubble and even after just...

Re: WWHD? (Harrington)
Thanks for the feedback, some great posts here. For the record, after I folded he showed AQs, FWIW.
I didn't see the decision as playing too passive or tight -- I was jumping at the chance to...

Call a crazy push with AK late in a ps180?
20 players left in a $22 180 tourney on Pokerstars. I have AKo in the BB. Blinds are 300/600, I have 13500, button has about 14500. Everyone folds to the button, who open pushes for 24X the BB. BB...

Re: NL taking over our casino
Maybe it's just a small sample so I'm overreacting, but my last two trips to Vegas (All-Star weekend, first weekend of March Madness) I found 3/6, 4/8 type games much tougher to find. Way more so...

Re: bad play, I need help
I feel, even looking back at the hand, that if I bet about 180K on the flop, I'm looking at a 100K call into a 700K or so pot with an overpair if he pushes, so I can't fold at that point. I guess my...

Re: bad play, I need help
Just feel like I played deep into a tourney and threw it away on a midpair. If I'm being too results oriented then I'll just live with this play and move on, but it's been bothering me all day.

bad play, I need help
OK, we're down to 10 in a $8 rebuy, started with 708. Hero is second in chips. It's gotten tight as we waited for the FT to start. UTG has been pretty quiet for a while, but had some loose plays...

Re: Strange Stars cashout issue
Seems like a lot of needless complaining here, but maybe there's a point. Sounds kind of fishy you had cashout problems two days before a bonus.

Re: Best Vegas room for watching live MLB?
If I have this right, Harrah's built its poker room by cutting the sportsbook in half. Whatever the story, Harrah's has many TVs for sports and the few times I've asked the staff to put certain games...

Re: can I fold this? TPTK late in MTT
Good points, McMel, however, let me ask this hypothetically -- if I raise 4,500 or 5,000 and he minraises, am I too committed to fold at that point?

Re: can I fold this? TPTK late in MTT
This hand is killing me because I think my thought process was horrendous. After getting c/r'ed and laying it down before, I took a mental note and figured that someone else might play back at me....

can I fold this? TPTK late in MTT
$20 Stars MTT, 403 started, 33 remain. I'm about 12th or 13th in chips. No great read on the villian. I've been aggressive and had a continuation bet c/r'ed about 30 hands before this.
The...

push with a OESD?
In a PS $22 180, still pretty early stages. The Villan here will play a lot of hands preflop and isn't overly aggressive.
Didn't know anyone thought this would be a good push with a OESD and an...

i think this was a good time to chop in a ps 180
I haven't made a whole lot of FT deals because I usually play smaller SNGs, but here was one in a PS 180 I played in today. Chip leader had about 119K. I had about 81K. Third had about 70K. Blinds at...

Re: ($27) bubble decision with 45o bothering me
Right, I figured he's got to take a stand with $785 chips. He can't fold with less than 2xBB, especially to me, who is in third. So if we can assume there's at least a 90 or 95 percent chance he...

($27) bubble decision with 45o bothering me
The BB here doesn't play the short stack well at all, in fact he's folded about 8 straight hands and is getting blinded off. I think there's a tiny chance he folds here again. I don't want to fold...

Re: ps 180, 18 left, 2 EP limpers and I have 77
He didn't have a big hand, just 99 that he called with.
And I realized I misspoke when I wondered if I could use the stop and go move because he was first to act, but was wondering if I could...
