Re: Razz -- worst hand wins on Absolute

Honestly, I think that the fault lies in two places:

First, I think the software that takes two (or more) hands and determines a winner incorrectly thought that aces, being better than 4's, lost....

Re: you dumb [censored] retards. razz is not a difficult game.

Razz is one of the most hilarious games to play, except it's kind of maddening headsup.

And 3 handed.

And 4-8 handed.

Re: Razz MTT Hand.. misplayed on every street?

Raise 3rd, fold 4th, check 5th, fold 6th, call river. But if you actually *get* to the river, it might be too small a pot to call.

I do believe that you played this one correctly. If you had caught a 7, 6, 5, or 3, I think fifth would have been a call.

Is fourth a call only if the 6 is...

oh god cap every street

it's .25/.50, he can do this with 87 in the hole

Maybe stop raising on the river if he hasn't stopped himself, but I agree with this.

Re: Bricked up on 5th street still a good call??

I'm actually not so hot on the river value bet.

Given there's actually a pretty good chance he had a wheel draw, because even bad players tend to only play face cards when they have two good cards...

Re: 2-7 Attempted Snow 1-2 Poker Stars

Coulda sworn DN said that a KQJ is a favorite over a 2 card draw.

"Even 2-3-4 is an underdog to beat K-Q-J-T-8! Amazing, but true." page 492

Yup.

This forum is now FYAD.

Jesus god.

Can someone turn the background pink?

Oh, and jman, you forgot to account for the one overcard and one undercard hands. Like T5, but even the weaker ones...

Re: Razz Cash Games?

There was a list of 4 people for 8/16 razz when I was at FW a while ago. I put my name up there, and it remained at 5 people till I left.

The person at the desk said "Getting that game running...

Re: two more razz hands

I would have raised 3rd, to get a threebet and drive the nine out.

I would have threebet 4th, for the same reason, get more money from the nine.

With that, I would call down. As it is, I still...

Re: 2/4 Razz against weird villain -- call the end w/ 98?

Re: 4th, if you're raising, you're doing so both in the hopes that villain threebets and you get headsup, or not and you get money in with the best hand.

I raise here a lot just because getting...

Re: 2/4 razz hand from a HORSE table

I might have checked fifth, but it's close, and it bought you a free sixth when you missed. Can't be that bad.

Everything else is great.

Re: 3-6 Razz, how is this?

First raise on 3rd is great, punish the 8. Second raise, eh, I tend to slow down because the next two cards will determine the hand far more than the first three, since it's clear you both have good...

Re: HORSE: huge edge for the skilled player?

I've been focusing on the 5/10 tables mostly because I'm not comfortable playing O8 or stud high only all that much. That is, I've got a comfortable edge at 5/10 but not so much at 10/20.

That...

Re: 10/20 vs I think 2+2er (uncoverted because it\'s from HORSE)

Re: Stud/8 - When to fold unimproved high-hands

One thing to note, though, is that concealed high hands, like KK 57K on fifth, can make a huge amount of money against other high hands or against low hands that two pair.
