Re: I try a resteal and don\'t know what to do when I get called

I don't think you're restealing pre, because I don't think villain is necessarily stealing. I think you're building a pot that you're going to have to play OOP with a hand that is likely behind most...

I don't know if he would be classified as a 'Humorist' but David Foster Wallace seems to constantly make me laugh. I haven't read his novels yet, but perhaps someone else can vouch for...

25NL KK in postition, getting value on flop

Villain is pretty loose, has put his stack in preflop with 88 when it was fairly obv his opp had AA or KK, overvalues TPBK on flop and turn. Did I bet the right amount on the flop? Do I put in...

25NL flopped top set OOP vs. LAG villain

My notes on villain are that he's laggier than his skill level warrants post-flop. Overvalues TPTK, raises and 3bets OOP preflop with marginal hands. I'm 80% sure my TT is best preflop. I think my...

25NL OESFD on flop in BSB play

My thoughts on this hand are that I'm playing the hand in position and want to get a little more money in the pot pre. With the flop, I'm semi-bluff raising for value with 15 outs. My notes on the...

Re: Chicago area, Rockford Charitable Games

Thanks for the info. I'm a little gun shy about the $40 single table satellites since they have a big rake and seem like they will be a total crapshoot, but I figure I can play up to 4 and get into...

With everyone limping, and the blinds playing, the odds of randomness are certainly greatly increased. I would agree with the lack of randomness in the hands in the event that the hand was capped or...
