Re: QQ 3bet PF - Villain goes AI on flop
Easyyyyyy fold. You can't beat anything now, you are even a dog to AK of hearts.... the only hand you might hope to see is another QQ.
To be honest I don't even like 3-betting with QQ preflop, I...

Re: 25NL lost to a higher kicker
I don't really like the call preflop, most people don't raise weak hands UTG, however this is only 5 handed and so you are less likely to be trapped.... but you still want to flop a big hand, going...

Re: Sanity check
I can't fold this, I would go all in preflop. He could have AA, but he could have KK, QQ, JJ and AK.
25 hands is nothing, I play multi-tables and often on one table my stats will be 0/0 after 25...

Re: 50NL Awkward hand vs 2p2
Personally I just check the turn and hope to make my flush or two pair for free, especially if you have already taken a few pots off him on the turn previously - he is more likely to get fruity with...

Re: Should i wait for the river with my nuts?
Bet the flop here, there is a made flush on the flop and you gave him a free draw to the bare ace for free.
You have second set on the flop which is a long way from the nuts.
I would just get...

Re: Playing Full Ring Style at 6Max
I think a lot of this post depends on what level you are playing and also what you define as TAG / LAG / Rock, in terms of VIP and PFR amounts.
Of course it also depends on the table...

Re: it is easier to learn than unlearn (AKo)
OK, I basically agree with everyone else.
Re-raise preflop to isolate the weak player with your top hand. As you played it the small blind gets to see a cheapish flop with any 2 cards.
Once...

Re: $11 Pacific Easy Call
I hate to call off my chips with A7o, however if the other guy is pushing a lot then you may well be ahead and if it A-rag vs A-rag you could chop up the big blind.
Best case is you are a small...

Re: Should I give up poker?
OK, I agree, sorry I thought you meant me as you quoted my post lol.
If you are going to load $100 into an account then really playing NL-10 is going to be your max.
I would want $1000 to start...

Re: Should I give up poker?
I don't know what your BR is but it sounds like you are simply playing too high up. Any player can lose 5-6 buyins without doing anything wrong at all.
You put down $100 and play NL100 with some...

Re: 33r - Stop \'n\' go misapplied?
I really dislike the play here, fold the BB and hope for a big picture card to push with when you have position in the next couple of hands.
The only time I am making this play is with hands like...

Re: $10 bubble AJo SB
Push or fold preflop.
It is the min raise so that stinks too, the other two players are under major presure with the blinds and you can afford to pass, I folded AJ twice in a very similar...

Re: $11 PP - 6 Remaining
I hate this kind of situation though, having advertised a
LAG style on the last hand it is a nightmare situation to be look down at JJ UTG.
I think I would prefer the limp-call when my normally...

Re: ATs 50NL vs Tag
Hmm, so a tight aggressive player makes an UTG raise and your happy to call with AT? - That is fine if you don't mind getting funky after the flop, however the way you played it you are just donking...
