Top Pair and kicker versus a calling station

Did I misplay this hand. The villian is a calling station. His VPIP is about 32%. Among many possiblities, I put him on a weak ace based on the action. This guy is not real aggresive. The bet on the...

Flopped set.

Did I play this hand poorly. I flopped a set on a scary board. Decided to bet out to see where I was at. Probably a stupid move since both stacks playing against me where short stacked. When they...

Re: QQ vs man on tilt

I guess I am a little confused. The BB was .10. I raised to .35. I also bet pot on the flop.

QQ vs man on tilt

The villian in this hand was complaining of suckouts in the chat. I felt he may have been a tilt. Any opinions of how I played this hand?

Am I getting the right implied odds to call

I origianally decided to play this hand because there was a raise and a caller. I then called on the turn because I felt that there enough implied odds. Did I play the hand poorly?

Overplayed my set?

I wonder if I overplayed this hand. The villian did appear to be overly aggresive. I definately put him on a flush draw. I figured he also had a pair or possibly overcards. Was pushing the right...

Yes, we must protect the children!! Unless, of course, they are betting on horses or playing fantasy football.

Re: Bodog and Poker Tracker

Bummer. I would really like to track Bodog players. I think some of the worst players on the Internet are on this site. I played three fifteen minute sessions over the last few days. I doubled my...

I am not really sure which forum to put this in. Does anybody know how to download Bodog hands into Poker Tracker? I cannot find instructions anywhere.

Re: Idiot draw

$8 in the pot. Only cost me $1 to call. Although I am probably beat, I think it would be terrible to fold when the pot is paying 8 to 1. There is a slight chance that he was on a draw as well and my...

Re: trip kings

At these lower levels, nobody knows what pot odds are. I guess I should quite complaining and just be thankful that these type of players will pay me off in the long run.

Re: trip kings

Normally I do not raise this much preflop; however, in this game, any thing less and I will get three or four callers.

I just seem to have problems in these super aggresive games and dont know...

trip kings

I have noticed that Saturday night games on Poker Stars are very, very aggresive. Should I have gone all in on the flop to protect my hand? Should I have folded on the river. Any thoughts.

Re: A 10 suited in the big blind

$10 sit and go. Still, I should know better. I have had a great deal of success on $5 sngs. Players are usually very very aggresive early on. I usually play ABC poker until several players knock...

Ok, I took a gamble. Turned out I was right. He had J-8 spades. Maybe I am just going on tilt. Little frustrated at the super aggresive players chasing long shot draws. I should just wait for better...

Ok, I am having a bad night. Got knocked out in two sngs back to back. Last tourny on the third hand. This tourny, eight hands in.

Re: loose passives > tight aggressives on UB ???

As far as win rates, UB tends to have a higher quality players than the other sites. This has always been true. Of course, recent "upgrades" gone haywire, have left a lot of people out in the cold....
