Re: SBR: Mansion\'s sportsbook closes to US, exchange stays open.

Re: Help a chess noob

In the mid-90s, Nunn/Batsford re-released the book (with all acceptable permits) but he made numerous numerous changes. It now reads like a book written by a university educated British person rather...

Exchanging on g2 gains us nothing??? I understand that we don't in general want to trade down in these situations, but his bishop on g2 is a candidate for best piece on the board. And as...

"My System" is a bit more advanced and I'd...

Re: Curtains vs PoG

[ QUOTE ]
Nb4 is not a 1-piece attack because it forces Curtains to move his Q to a worse square, allows us to develop Bf5 with tempo, and creates at least two additional threats, as well as...

Re: Chess World Championship

I believe they are counting it as a forfeit loss to Kramnik as even Kramnik appears to have given up trying to get that game replayed. He has made some threats about suing FIDE etc, but the result...

Re: Curtains vs PoG

Here is what I will say about this kind of position.

1) The salient point is still your isolated d-pawn. Your moves should revolve around that pawn and how it will become either a strength or a...
