Re: $24 LO8 tournament hand

You should fold this hand preflop.

1) Your under the gun with high only hand, can't assume you will just be able to steal the blinds in this position and you can't afford to waste chips on this...

Re: WSOP: Final 3 of event #42, Strategy Question

David,
I think I would have reraised which would have made the big blind fold (unless he woke up with a real monster) and you would be way ahead of the button's range. As played, I would have...

Re: PLO8 tourny question

Easy fold, you don't draw to half the pot, this is a bad flop for you given the low is out there and possible straights. Small mistakes in limit 08 become big mistakes in PLO8

Re: Trying to find live WSOP sats

Pechanga runs a $200 Main event the last Saturday of every month, its a total crapshoot, 20 minute rounds. Play is horrible but the structure is so bad, I wouldn't bother.

RIO on June 1 starts...

your advantage can't be that big since you seem to have no understanding of what constitutes a good hand in this game.

Re: do you gamble here in the second level of a plo8 mtt?

I play tournaments only all the time and most people can't adjust from o8 to pl08 and the play is so bad, people chasing just low draws, so my advantage is so big, I don't feel the need to gamble...

Re: do you gamble here in the second level of a plo8 mtt?

Fold, This is Pl08 and you have just a low hand. what hand limps in and then reraises in this game?
in the early rounds I limp with this hand as well and commit chips when I have something big. ...

Re: WSOP 2k7 Omaha 8 Events; Whose Getting Ready?

Thanks for the post. I'm thinking about playing in the $1500 PLO8 on June 25th. I tend to do well on the Full Tilt $10 and $40 PLO8 double stack tournaments (3000 chips, 15 minute blinds). Any idea...

Re: PokerStars wants your opinion [hand for hand in MTTs]

Re: $30 super satellite, flopped straight...

I think your going to have to go all in here, if he has 7 10 so be it. hands with 7 are possible but he could just have a flush draw with a pair, two pair, set. An easy hand becomes difficult...

Bet the pot on the flop, hope someone raises you which is probably likely. But since you didn't, bet the pot on the turn.

Re: FTP $24 AK Call All-In Decision, Bubble Approaching

in a $24 FTP tourney, the range of the BB is much wider, AQ,AJ,A10, sometimes AX,any pair,KQs your only in bad shape vs 2 hands.
I would need a very strong read to fold this. Bubble pays nothing,...

Re: Live Mega Sat-Minimizing your losses with AA

I do come out betting and fold when I'm sure I'm beat. the raise to 400 preflop would get rid of the A10, AJ hands.
KK is very unlucky since all the money would have gone in preflop with these...

Re: Live Mega Sat-Minimizing your losses with AA

The button mini raises the pot and the small blind moves all in,...

with a $500 buy in, 2400 seats is what is needed to have no overlay. At 3600 players, they are giving away 150 seats
