Re: AQ OOP in a pf3bet spot (100 6m)

I think I lead out the turn for $40ish. You hit THE flop you were looking for - be honest, you don't want to see that ace hit when you have AQ against a PFR. But, it's not completely dry, so you...

Re: I flopped a momster draw, How do I play this?

OOP against those stats I'm probably folding to the PFR.

Given a call, though, lead the flop.

Re: I flopped the nuts: How do I extract value here?

IMO, you played it mostly right. The board's got a few draws, so you've got to bet and give opponents incorrect odds to draw to a flush/straight/boat.

Your turn bet was massive, though -...

The \"cold cards\" downswing.

So, I'm in the midst of about a 2.5 buyin downswing, lasting over about 1400 hands, which I attribute mostly (1.5 buyins, a full buyin was me tilting because of said cold streak) to a string of cold...

Re: Tough turn spot w/ 87s

It is. You've got to either bet/fold (60-75% of the pot) or check/fold. Check/call just lets him run all over you.

Re: Tough turn spot w/ 87s

Well, my rule of thumb is this:

If you check and he bets, do you call?

If the answer is yes, I think you HAVE to bet. Fold to a raise.

Re: We don\'t felt TPTK vs unknown right? 100NL

He's telling you he beats AJ. Without reads, I think you have to muck to his reraise or try to outdraw a set or a weakly played QQ-AA.

Re: Ovrpr min rz\'d twice

He's telling you on the flop he has you beat, I can't fault your line. Without any reads, I'd think two big clubs would be likely cards he'd call with and I've certainly seen AA take his line.

Re: Rivered 2 pair - Am I good here 1/3?

Just out of curiosity, why check the turn and give him a free chance to draw out with diamonds or KQ?

I think you've got to bet $30ish on the turn - particularly with how loose he is.
