Re: Unsuited Connectors
Call every time - but I play a lot of hands
After everyone limps I would much rather have a hand like T9o rather than KTo or something. Hands like T9o get you in waaaay less trouble than KTo, KJo,...

Hand from weeeeeks ago (8-16 at HG)
Here is a hand from the last HE session I played.
I have a tight-solid image. I open from EP1 with AJ. Two callers along with the BB.
BB is the villain in this hand. Known to be a solid poker...

Re: Friend\'s hand
I do agree with James - there are waaay too many cards that can come that mess up my action. And they did. J on the turn and K on the river are certainly not good cards as those are two pairs I can...

Re: I play poker? (8-16) hand
OK PF sucks I guess
Onto the flop when it was two more back to me I thought to myself, if I cap, I guess I have to bet the turn, and if I am raised the turn I might just explode. So I just called...

I open QTs in MP, donkey on my left call with some others ATx flop. I bet, donkey raise, blind calls two, I call. Turn Q, I c/r and blind stares me down like a minute before folding. I value town the...

I play poker? (8-16) hand
First time in about two weeks.
My image was all over the place(because I was) at first. Raising in some interesting spots, playing kinda weird, but running super hot, talking a fair amount. Then...

Re: Friend\'s hand
8-16, it was the second or third orbit of a brand new game. The only thing villain had done was steal the blinds with JJ UTG and AK from MP(he loves to show his cards)
Here was the only hand I had...

Re: 80/160 Stud 8 simple 4th street spot
HU dynamic makes the game and situation much different. (edit: if the game is HU, not the hand)
I would still fold even if I had an Ace down. Think about possible 5th and 6th street scenarios....

Full game right?
What type of fishy? Super aggressive, super passive calling station, what?
Either way now that I think about it I still want to be on his left.
Thinking about 4th and 5th...

Onto the actual hand - I fold when I am playing well. Calling is probably a very very small mistake but it...

Re: 80/160 Stud 8 simple 4th street spot
This is an easy fold IMO.
I know he will defend his BI with anything, but I would still just throw it away. Its all about the playability of your hand. And right now, it sucks!

Nope - check behind and either win against no pair or lose to something that beats you - almost everything beats you here. nh

Action bet! (8/b)
At the Bike when you scoop a pot of I believe 150+ you are forced to post an action bet.
Anyway I post the forced action bet but I have to bring it in with 2J(3) - so I basically bet 20 from the...

No this is fine, I usually only call the flop c/r and raise the turn HU with hands like AK on a K43r flop or something.
In this situation when there is a chance...
